I have no problem with "Hunk-o-saurus"...I think it's actaully a nice term. Here's what I have problems with: "Serious-o".What the heck....? Nobody in their right mind would EVER think of using such a god-awful term! Michelle saying things like "Dude", "Cuz" and "Big Dweeb". Has she been hanging around with the Ninja Turtles,King Louie from Disney's Jungle Book" and Rude Dog? "You're totally tripping". Where on Earth did THIS come from......?

They're getting better about it sadly... because in all the new shows all the kids say things like "Btw" instead of by the way and "Omg!" instead of oh my gosh... which sadly enough people are actually saying these days V_V But..... but...... how CAN you say "btw"? It doesn't have any vowels in it! Unless you turn the W into a vowel and go "ba-TOO"?

I ahve. It weirds me out. >.<
But see, H_M, the issue I have with hunk-o-saurus is...NO self-respecting girl of that age or time would have said that! It's a really dumb term to apply to a guy you think is cute. And I never even hear the term "hunk" anymore.

Yeah I've heard it too V_V my boyfriend even calls his friend 'bff' I HATE that lol best friends forever is bad enough especially for a guy... but BFF? come on...
But yeah, "hunk" I have no problem with the old dub saying, since when it came out people still said 'hunk' but "hunk-o-saurus"? Seriously? That just... creeps me out. I've NEVER heard anyone seriously use that term. As a joke yes, but not in all seriousness. In the dub, they were CLEARLY using it 'seriously' they weren't making fun of anybody or anything so it was serious... and that just makes me shake my head lol

i like more the dubbed... i mean i like the voices and all this stuff. but i hate that they cut some parts from sm I agree, i love the voices i find it hard to watch the original because most of the voices sound similar and it's hard for me to differentiate between the characters, that and i don't know japanese or anything. But i watch some subbed, but for me i prefer the dub

I just watched the epidsode and I kinda agree with H_M, it actualy does sound a lot like something Molly would say, and it wasn't something serious they were joking around about guys, it's not like she was getting married.
Heh...." Do you take molly to be your lawfully wedded wife?" "I do" " And do you take this hunk-a-saorus to be your husband?" "HELLZ YA!"

Well the issue for me with that term isn't so much the dub itself as it is ALL of these shows. They're all fantasy and made up, even if it's a 'scripted drama' made to seem kind of like it's real. Anyway the writers obviously try really really hard to make them have their own 'lingo' but they're off every time lol Some real teenager needs to tell them how they talk.... then maybe one of these shows will stop being retarded...
The Canadian show "Degrassi" is probably the only one that doesn't just grate my nerves... that's because they rarely ever use lingo, and when they do I'm not 100% sure anyway if it's what's 'popular' because I'm not Canadian! lol I just know that I hear people say weird things all the time like Paige saying Absolute... mo? I think it is... maybe it's some French word I don't know about tacked to the end of 'absolute'....whatever it is it's said like 'moe' but yeah you'd think the people that are playing these roles would go up to the writers and be like "um... this isn't how teenagers talk, you know this right?" lol I know I would
So yeah it's not just the dub that makes me annoyed with that... it's all shows...

Absolutement, the French for "absolutely", is pronounced like "absolute mo", and I've heard English people using it, even ones who know very little French apart from that word
