Well I cried when inners died in 45 episode, but the saddest moment is death of Uranus and Neptune in Stars. They were thinking that they will save their princesse even she won't understand it...

It was close between Uranus and Neptune (both deaths) and the inners first death. I finally went for the Uranus and neptune stars deaths. Well, it seems sad.

My vote goes to the Inner Senshi's deaths in the first season.
The reason why I think they're the saddest (and scariest) is because of Sailor Moon's reactions to all of them. Not only did her friends die brutal deaths, but she was left completely alone to fend for herself.

The first season's deaths were the saddest, and I think, the most traumatizing for Usagi.

The first season was a kind of horror The Youmas were really horrific creatures ;] When I was young I was really scared looking at them^^ Yes the ending of the first season was the saddest for Senschi's. On the other hand many villains had much more saddest death and nobody cries for them ;o

I felt really sorry for Eugial...how horrible, to basically be murdered by your co-workers.
But I actaully did feel a few tears when Aluminum Siren died. Oh my. I felt so sorry for her.

The Haruka-Michiru ones, I must say, were definitely the most sad. The first was incredibly sad because of the themes of self-sacrifice and the horrific irony of the whole situation, furthermore coupled with a sense of helplessness and despair. The second was also extremely sad because of again, self-sacrifice and horror, at a failed plan, and even more touching because they were still together, until the very end. The helplessness and despair was also present.
Whereas, in the first Inners death, it was very sad, yet they hadn't really known each other for quite so long, and there wasn't the whole horrific irony or failure of the situation, and they had gone down in very noble manners, with hope still left. It wasn't the same despair. Now the Inners' second deaths were just too fast to let it sink in.
Anyway, that's my detailed analysis.

i cried like a baby when Uranus and Neptune died on Stars. cried like a baby; that was when i first really realized how in love with each other they are. The dialogue, the music--and Neptune simply wanting to hold Haruka's hand because she knew that as long as they were together, they could face anything. I suppose the same could be said of their death in S, too, but because Stars was obviously the last season, it made their death in Stars that much sadder.
