I really love the deaths of the Inners in the Classic season... They all die while fighting the evil DD Girls, and they all get their own ice coffin... the view of those dead senshi, which get shown while the last episodes all the time are just... horrible...
I didn't like it in the Stars season, because they died so fast and not really "spectacular", just 4 shots with them as shadow - dead... That was not really emotional <.<"

And then her screaming after they are all gone...*shivers*

The StarS Inners deaths were shocking. I was NOT expecting them to get killed right then...so I sat in shock for a minute or two..then cried my eyes out.

When the Inners died in Stars, I couldn`t help but cry my eyes out. They stuck with watchers/readers from the beginning and we all became connected towards them, probably more than we are connected to the Outers.

my favourite is kinda a death scene, from the Sailor Moon R movie end when they all look back how Usage had changed their lives n such,I ALWAYS cry at that part does that count as a death scene?I mean she did die for a moment but from the choice above I voted the Inner Senshi's death is the Stars Season, but I also love the scene from the first season.am I the only one who noticed that their death from the first seaon in english dub (I think japanese also) was in a hurry?I remembered from cantonese, they didnt die so quickly one after another ....

They cut out alot from the dub, from what I read. Probably trying to make it the most child-friendly as possible (as if). XD

Amen to that!
Have anyone else noticed that out of the four Inners, Mars and Venus are always highlighted a lot? Mars ALWAYS seems to get the best death scenes and Venus has the whole 'leader' thing... I don't know if it's my imagination at work as always here, but it's always seemed that way to me.

I haven't seen the end of StarS, so I voted for the Inners deaths in the classic, Everytime I watch the subbed version of that ep, I cry, it's so emotional

The ice coffin deaths.
The most dramatic of the deaths in there had to be Venus or Jupiter. (Jupiter actually being impaled up there, and Venus entangled in that spikey vine thing.)
I agree with Katze, though, on the Stars Season Inners' deaths. They were quick, and though it was dramatic, they didn't give you time to let the saddness sink in. D:

It's very sad when Usagi loses all her best friends near the end of the star series, at least she still had the sailor stars but still that was very sad, poor Usagi.

Definitely Uranus and Neptune's death in S. Although it was quite heart-wrenching in Stars, it lacked a deeper sense of individual sacrifice and love. In Stars, their demise was due to their own decisions and they knew it was inevitable, when they failed to defeat Galaxia. It was tragic, but slightly in a different way. In S, however, Neptune had to endure such trials and sacrificed herself for the sake of her loved one. Uranus killed herself not only because she housed the other talisman, but also because Neptune no longer shared the same world with her. So to me, S was just the sadder death scene. It's fitting how they always die together. I can't see them living without the other.

First Season ending, the Inners practically got massacred one by one. Neptune & Uranus' death in S is a close second.

Neptune and Uranus' death was particularly hard I think because we were dealing with the fact that they had turn on Usagi. I remember when I first watched it and the whole time I was thinking, "Usa's right, they are just messing with her." But they went so far, and I wasn't sure. I felt just as guilty as Usa for doubting them. T_T
