Up to now I've read books 1-5, I haven't got the chance to read 6 because my cousin who has books 1-5 doesn't have this one and I am too embarrassed to go to the children's section of the library to borrow the book. XD XD I'll wait until someone buys it so I can borrow or go to the library if I ever dare to go. ;D

How'bout this: I'll get the online version 5 days after the book is released, and then buy it when the price goes under $10 Just like I did with books 1-6!

I'm not interested at all. I've never been a harry potter fan and I won't change my mind.
Probably I will hear one of my friends telling me the whole harry potter story.

XD I think just about every single one of my friends wants this book and they've been going on about it non-stop for weeks. People keep trying to get me into it and they've also made comparisons between my school, my personality, even my voice... and related it back to Harry Potter So, I've purposely avoided everything Harry Potter related for years, and now I hear it's coming to an end. Is it true that he's going to die or something? I'm a little surprised about that actually. That sounds a little too serious...

Yeah, J. K. Rowling(the writer, and the devious mastermind behind all these things) said something like:
"I'm a big fan of Agatha Cristie[?], and the way she killed her characters at the end of a series of novels so that no other writer could use them for themselves"*
* more or less

I love HP!! I have already pre-ordered the book, and I'm so excited about it!!
I avoided it forever, and then I finally just decided to see what all the fuss was about one day when I was bored. I picked up the first book expecting to HATE it, but I just fell in love! I read all six books VERY quickly after that. The lesson I learned is: don't bash something until you try it out; there's a reason why it's so popular.

I'm not all that in to Harry Potter anymore, but I really want to finish the series. I'll probably borrow it from a friend like I did for the sixth book. I'm so cheap.

I didn't read any of them till last year when I finally caved it. Now I am glad I listened to reason.

The lesson I learned is: don't bash something until you try it out; there's a reason why it's so popular. Meh, maybe I'll cave in sometime in the future. I hear this summer's going to be a huge for Harry Potter fans. I saw the trailer for the new movie when I was at the cinema and it looks okay, although admittedly, I didn't know what the jiggins was going on. XD I wouldn't go so far as to bash Harry Potter. It's a huge household name anyway so I'm not completely ignorant of the general storyline and characters, but I'm generally into more adult films and books. I'm sorry if this offends anyone, but Harry Potter is ultimately a children's book to me and I don't enjoy reading books that are too easy to read. I tend to read books with more complicated prose. So, when my friends stop saying that I sound like Hermione or that my high school was "like Hogwarts" because of the houses system with the same house colours, maybe I'll give it a shot At the moment, I'm just far too incensed that my friends are comparing my life to a fictional universe. I've put up with it for too long and it's annoying...

I'm not really a Harry Potter fan, I've read the books and saw the movies but more out of curiosity...first to see what the fuss was about, then I continued reading because I've read the previous books so now that I did start it I'll finish. But I'm totally not a part of the Harry Potter madness.

I'm not interested at all I tried to get into it by reading the first book, but I found it boring and stopped halfway through. I'll wait for my brothers to read it and tell me what happens.
