No, I don't think getting a Sailor Moon tattoo would be weird! I don't really plan on getting a tattoo, but if I ever did, it would more than likely be a Sailor Moon tattoo. It's a series I hold near and dear to my heart for several reasons, so I wouldn't mind having it tattooed on my body. I've had a bit of a fascination with the Star Locket lately and I think a Star Locket tattoo would be pretty. If I didn't think ankle tattoos looked gaudy, I'd get it tattooed (smaller than actual size) hanging from a chain around the ankle.
I've heard of some really unique Sailor Moon tattos, such as Luna-P or one of the wands/lockets/transformation rods. I think a manga-style headshot of one of the characters would look gorgeous if done right! And I have to agree with everyone else, one of the manga bunnies would be really cute.

Naru and Umino also show up in Ami's First Love, but that's the last time they're seen in the anime.
I quite liked them myself; I liked seeing Usagi's relationships with her non-senshi friends and family. It gave us that sense that she's still somewhat a normal girl, and having friends who also don't transform to fight evil entities showed us that. I wish they'd shown Naru and Umino a little more often after R/S.

The only person in the whole series I was never particularly fond of was Taiki. The only time I could tolerate him was in the episode with Misa. Otherwise, no way. I hated how he squinted all the time towards the end of Stars too.
If they wanted to find Kakyuu a little faster, they probably could've used Taiki's forehead as a billboard. Sure, they would've attracted a few more weirdo fans, but it's good advertising!

ROFL. I'd forgotten about Bureau of Bad Behavior! What was the bureau af bad behavior? (apalogies on the double post) That was the cheese-tastic name Cloverway decided to give the Death Busters. I remember hearing that on TV back in 2000 and going, "Wait, wha?" I hadn't even seen the original and I knew that was way off!

What was the site? Evn though I'm not particularily fond of the dub, I just want to see how Stars would have turned out dubbed. www.fighter4luv.net/stars.htmlThere's some test clips and openings/endings on the director's Youtube channel, www.youtube.com/fighter4luvI actually auditioned for Mina and Rini. Didn't get either part, but oh well. The clips they've released so far are amazing -- they've put a lot of work into it.

Call me crazy, but I think a DiC-style fandub of Sailor Stars is a pretty neat idea. Not like the half-assed DiC fandubs other groups did -- this group's actually going all-out with transitions and everything. I might not like the actual dubbing job DiC did, but the work they put into the other things they did was pretty good. How many fandub groups try to emulate that? Most fandubs just use lines verbatim from the VKLL subs, slap on the dub names, and call it a day. To be honest, I'd rather hear a fandub use the dub names rather than hear some twelve-year-old "voice actress" mangle the pronunciation of "Usagi" for the upteenth time. Besides, I've heard them toss around the idea of an uncut dub of Sailor Stars using the original names once they finish the DiC version.
Making a fandub is pretty hard work. I'm helping out on a miniseries that takes place after S, and I'm working hard on just doing the music/sound effects! Even if it is modeled after the DiC dub, I've gotta give those guys props for going the whole way and adding the extras.

I was bored the other night, so I started making a video showcase of my collection. www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oyOnY4CboEThat's only the first half, I haven't finished the other half yet.

I have a small but really expensive collection. I have... - All 18 of the Tokyopop manga releases. I had to buy a good chunk of them online because I was missing about six volumes or so after it went out of print. - All of the R1 DVD releases -- the ADV boxsets of SM and SMR, the Pioneer/Geneon thinpacks of S and SuperS, the Geneon releases of the R and SuperS movie, and the Pioneer release of the S movie. - The edited VHS releases of the dubbed movies. - VHS fansubs of Sailor Stars. - A DVD fansub of the SuperS specials and Ami-chan no Hatsukoi. - Volumes 1-5 of the SM Classic region 2 DVDs. - An 11.5" Irwin Sailor Moon doll. - 6" Mercury, Mars, and Venus dolls. - The Irwin release of the Cutie Moon Rod. - The weird hybrid of the SM brooch/Crystal Star from US Bandai. - The Warriors of Legend book. And it's not an official SM piece, but I have a child's bowl and chopsticks with a rabbit on them that say "Usagi" in katakana. I couldn't resist! As per usual, I'd love to have more too. I'm ordering the R2s of R and S sometime this month, and I'm trying to track down the R2 limited edition DVD-BOX of the movies right now. My ultimate wish is to get the toy of the Grail! But I won't say no to getting the Cosmic Heart Compact and Spiral Heart Moon Rod too.

Yeah, I definitely prefer this one over Moonsidesaturn's. It's just too funny. I showed it to some of my friends who don't even like Sailor Moon or have never watched it and they've become addicted to the abridged series.
Episode 7 has probably been my favorite so far -- it has so many excellent quotes! "BITCH, GET OUT!!" I love how they characterized Raye. And the chibis on the website are awesome. Every time I see that chibi Moon eating a donut, I think "om nom nom nom."

As a supplement to what Cybbertron and Ellethwen said, drawing in Photoshop(or any other likewise program) without a Drawing Tablet is not an easy feat... well drawing well, at least! And even drawing with a tablet takes a good chunk of practice. I never really managed to get the hang of mine. Almost makes me wish I didn't sell it last year. If you don't have a tablet, you can use the pen tool in Photoshop to outline your pictures... but that's awfully tedious. It can get some good results with a lot of practice, but your wrists might not like you much afterwards.

You can download a trial version of Photoshop from Adobe's website. I think it runs for about a month. There are other, ah, unorthodox ways you can get Photoshop, but there are other websites dedicated to that.
Just a bit of advice from an artist, Photoshop won't automatically make everything perfect. There are lots of tutorials and techniques that can help, but practice is really what makes it perfect. There are screentones and brushes you can download legally for free out there that can give the manga-style effect, but like all effects, they work best sparingly.

Anything rock-ish would be good. The only song I can think of off the top of my head right now is "Headstrong" by Trapt, but that might be a good one.

I highly recommend Morning Musume or anything else under the Hello! Project umbrella (Berryz Koubou, Country Musume, Coconuts Musume, Viyuden, Mini Moni, Pucchimoni, °c-ute, Tanpopo, any of the summer shuffle groups or soloists). Check out www.projecthello.com/ for a list of all the songs!
