Guys, I really like the Starlights. But there is one thing I just don't understand. In the manga, they are always women. Whereas in the anime, they're women when they henshin. I don't really get it. I saw on some website a while ago that they're men because they were spies or something like that..I don't quite remember. But I don't understand why they just can't stay women all the time.

It's was a rash decision made by TOEI I guess.
I didn't like the starlights all too much, even though all I saw was the anime. Seiya was okay, but Yaten and Taiki were jerks.

Yeah, it was a decision made by the anime company/companies. Understandably, I hear Naoko was really mad at them for that.

I like the manga version where they just stay girls more. That turning into a guy thing is creepy. I just don't see why TOEI made that decision. I really liked the Starlights though. I think that Yaten and Taiki were kind of distant and protective because they wanted to find their princess and not get caught up in a big battle by helping Usagi and the others, not just to be jerks. They had lost a lot already.
