It seemed over… The lives of eight teenaged girls in Pearl Point, Maine were supposed to go back to how they were before, despite the fact that they all knew it would never be the same. Still, some moved determinedly forward with their own personal hopes and dreams, while others desperately clung to the few months where their lives were more than anyone could have ever dreamed.
In the winter of 2005, a new group of Sailor Senshi were found and awakened. Their leader, the perfectionist Sadie Nquyet, made sure that her rank as Sailor Moon was well known throughout the “team”. Luckily, all of the other soldiers had personalities too bold to be dictated by one leader, and through trial and several errors; they managed to become one large, dysfunctional family. They had to battle their own personal demons as well as the ones sent from the enemy, and the worst scars were the ones you couldn’t see. Naiya Kenda, the lovely Sailor Mercury, not only had to deal with the death of her ex-boyfriend, Tommy, but her cocaine addiction. Freya Fairfax, the resident Goddess of Love and Sex (known as Sailor Venus) still hasn’t overcome her dependency on alcohol, and by the looks of their future, won’t ever.
Despite all bad, the girls proved to the world and their nemesis that they were a force to be reckoned with. Maebh Treasaigh and Adrienne Quade (Sailor Jupiter and Mars, respectively) were able to take out their anger management problems on whatever baddie they went up against, which was good for some of the novice fighters who were only good for bartering with the enemy. This was the best position for the tiny Cordelia Farkas, the natural baby of the group, even though her Sailor Neptune alter ego was supposed to be the most skilled. The eldest role went to Alchemy McKenzie, easily the maternal-figure and most intelligent member. Without her peace-making abilities the group might as well have disbanded from the beginning.
It was, while none of them will admit it, fun while it lasted. But all good things must come to pass, and it’s now summer in the sleepy fishing town of Pearl Point. Their lives are still intertwined in one another, as they forever would be, especially since a new, greater evil is on the rise. While the girls and any new soldier is blissfully unaware of the beast, that’s fine with them, because they’re having a hard enough time just dealing with every day life.
And here we go, life’s waiting to begin[/font]
