Hello Betty
I live in Australia but since I'm chinese, I've seen most of the Chinese (Catonese) dub version
too~ and was wondering if you would like some information on them. As far as I know, all the
Chinese translation of the episodes are very faithful to the original ^^ The kanji characters of
the names are the same word in chinese, except different pronounciation. Therefore, like the
Japanese names, their surname comes first. Their name meanings are also the same as the originals.
Here are some pronounciations of their names in Cantonese:
Yoot Yea (Tsukino) Tou (Usagi)
Soi Yea (Mizuno) A Mei (Ami)
For Yea (Hino) Lai (Rei)
Mook Yea (Kino) Zan Kum (Makoto)
Oi Yea (Aino) Mei Loi Zi (Minako)
Dao dang (Chibi/kid) Tou (Usagi)
Hoi Wong (Kaioh) Moon (Michiru)
Teen Wong (Tenoh) Yill (Haruka)
Mei Wong (Meiou) Shoot Loi (Setsuna)
Tou Num (Tomoe) Yeng (Hotaru)
Dei Tern (Chiba) Wai (Mamoru)
On Deck Mei (Endymion) Wong Zi (Prince)
Loi Lou (Naru) [Forgot her surname XD]
Lo La(Luna)
Ah Tei Mut See (Artemis)
Di Or Na (Diana)
Dai Hei (Taiki) Guong (Kou)
Yea Teen (Yaten) Goung (Kou)
Seng Yea (Seiya) Guong (Kou)
Hope this helps ^_^
