Aside from that, everyone have a Happy Turkey-Free Thanksgiving! I asked Peta to send me their free Vegan starter kit (which is cool, but not all the food is healty -eg ritz crackers lol) I feel the same way though. One thing you can do to try to help is buy the organic free range turkey, but it costs more and I'm not in charge of buying it at my house. ;_;

My mom refused to NOT NOT cook a Turkey, but she did buy an organic - free range one. All of our vegatables and other food products are also organic. Call me a hippie, but I'm be a happy and healthy hippie. xD

yeah; I'm not crazy over meat (but I do like some fish) and I'm allergic to all things dairy, so I'm practically a vegetarian....but hey, as you say epona, happy & healthy!

Aside from that, everyone have a Happy Turkey-Free Thanksgiving! thats pretty sick treatment... though i disagree with miss treatment and breeding *just* for food.. i don't disagree with the actual eating of meat (i don't eat 'red' meat myself- actually the sight revolts me, but i do eat cod -fishfingers), my stance is different to most as i see everything has a right to the life force including plants - which move, bleed as such and die like animal do, i mostly eat plants but i'd never go the vegetarian stance because i don't see killing plants any different.

Happy late Thanksgiving!
Oh, and good points there, Amy-Chan. I myself tend to eat a lot of meat-probably because my dad is a big meat eater (although he has tried to go vegetarian, but that never works). Not to mention around where I live there's a whole lot of local cows and pigs and chicken, not to mention fish (thanks to pollution, though, we're not supposed to eat a lot of fish out of the Mississippi) so eating meat is kind of a given.
Anyways, most of my Thanksgiving was spent watching more skilled people playing Guitar Hero, which I suck at. Royally.

Hmmm......
...we don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Australia...
...the only reason we know about it is some American books we read mention it...
...otherwise HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU ALL.
What is thanksgiving exactly??
