Today has been an emotional day for me, to say the least.
I have good news, bad news, and news that makes me nervous. Bad news first.
MY granpda Tery (Who, incidentally, has the same name as my dad...)i in the hospital. About 15 years ago he had a heart attack, and yesterday he was admitted to the hospital for chest pains. Turns out he had clogged arteries so they gave him a surgery, which went great. But my grandpa, being the guy he is, got up out of bed last night even though he wasn't supposed to. He fell and split his head open. Therew a lot of bleeding and he had to have stitches. They gave him a scan and he has lot of internal bleeding. So far, he's fine, he can sit up and laugh and talk-joked about "I have a headache"-but they're giving him another scan and if nothing has changed, they'll give him another surgery. We think he'll be alright. He's tough for his age-still does construction and stuff-but he's in the hospital a lot. (I think he's fallen through his own roof twice.) In fact, he just had surgery onh arm and had just gotten it out of the sling. *blinks
But hopefully, he'll be fine!
Nervous news: We were just given the information for my school's musical this year yesterday. We're doing Beauty and the Beast, but the auditions are TOMORROW. *eek*
Good news? I have been taking dance class for 2 years and expected to be in the next company level, Destiny Dance Company. But Gig, being a rather odd teacher, put me in Crossfire, which is the competition team. Oh my lord. I have never been on any sort of competition team except for marching band. I'm happy to be in it, though. It makes me feel as though, finally, all that hard work I've been doing has paid off!
*runs for water*
