I been thinking about this, which is the real Sailor Moon subtitles? : The white lettering or the yellow and green lettering.

Umm, I honestly don't know how to answer that. It's not like one is the real subtitle and the other will send you to an eternity in hell. I'm pretty sure ADV used white subtitles, but the yellow ones are accurate to. And green subtitles? WTF?

ADV and Pioneer both used yellow subtitles. Pioneer, however, used white and green subtitles for the opening and ending -- white for the English and green for the Japanese romanji. (I may have gotten that backwards.) They're both equally legit.
If you want to get technical, VKLL also used yellow subtitles, but newer fansubs use white or different colored subtitles to distinguish between characters. Hope that helped!

Mmm... delicious yellow with black outline VHS bootleg subs, how I love ye. As for what's 'official' I'd go with Pioneer or ADV, since they officially bought the lisence or whatever. VKLL was just a fansubber, but a wonderful and great one at that. I have S, SuperS and Stars from VKLL sitting under my tv as we speek. My Stars tapes have some scenes that got that nasty garbled line because I would rewind and rewatch them so many times. lol.
