I checked to see if a topic simialr to this one was already made, but I didn't notice any. I'm sorry if there was one, because I must have over looked it.
Anyways, while I was eating some Crispix cereal earlier today, I started thinking about Neo Queen Serenity's Silver Crystal and it's power to make everyone immortal. Well, I started to think about how Rini was a child for about 900 years. Then, I thought about how the Silver Crystal, in the future, how its powers work.
When Rini lived in the past (R, Super, Super S), then did the Silver Crystal have no effect on her? In other words, because she was no longer in the future, where the Silver Crystal granted that immortality, then would that mean she could possibly begin growing again? Or, could it be a one time thing where time has no restictions on the crystal's power?
Also, couldn't the Silver Crystal have no effect on immortaility in the future, after the Black Moon Family trashed Crystal Tokyo, and Neo Queen Serenity being ecased in crystal?
This sound confusing to some, but I'm hoping I explained that well. Thoughts/opinions?

Well, in the past, the people on the Moon who were affected by the Silver Crystal were immortal as well. I think that the holders of Crystals (whatever kind) will always be immortal themselves, but they have to grant the immortality to people who don't hold a crystal. So, like, Neo-Queen Serenity allowed the Silver Crystal to give everyone on Earth a very long lifespan.

Well, in the manga, Chibiusa started growing after the Silver Crystal came out of her body and she became Sailor Chibi Moon. King Endymion said that since she was the first child from both the moon and Earth, there was a lot they couldn't explain about her and I think the stunted growth was one of them.
In the anime, however, I think she came back at two different points in her life. In R, she looks like she's about six years old. In S/SuperS, she looks like she's about ten or eleven, MAYBE pushing twelve. I always thought that after she left in R, she stayed in the future for an undetermined length of time, then came back to the 20th century at a different age. So hundreds or thousands of years could've passed in the future, she could've grown older, and then she could've returned to the past where Usagi and the others had barely aged. If she wanted to get really time-paradoxy and freak the others out, she could've came back at her S/SuperS age immediately after she left in R when they were still standing in the park!
So no, I don't think being in the past really affected Chibiusa's lifespan. She only stayed in the past for a short fraction of her life, so we didn't really see her grow that much. Since she was already granted immortality from birth, I'm pretty sure she would've kept that status even after she went back to the past.
