For a while now, I've not been eating properly. I'll eat a wheat cereal in the morning or a yoghurt, depending on if I feel that hungry, and I won't eat again until dinner time and I've began to not eat my full dinner too. If I get peckish before or after, I have a piece of fruit or something.
Mom's been shouting at me for some time. She's happy that I'm losing weight because I've been meaning to for ages, but she's becoming worried and is telling me to "start eating". Now, my friends are beginning to tell me to eat more but whenever I eat more than I already do, I feel sick and think I'm going to throw up.
Could I have a disorder or are they all just worrying a bit too much? I don't think I have one

I'm no medical expert, but it sounds like a form of anorexia nervosa. You are supposed to eat three meals a day. If you're losing weight by cutting out food, that's not healthy. Healthy weightloss is achieved through eating healthier (controlling portions, less fat and sugars, etc.) and excercise, not by skimping on food.
If you're getting sick and throwing up when you eat anymore than that, something does not sound right. The best course would be to talk to a doctor, I think.

i agree going to a doctor would be a good idea the fact that you've noticed it is a good sign cos it means that u can catch it before it gets out of hand that is if there is anything wrong with u

I would go see a doctor, or a dietician, Amy Rose. You haven't mentioned how you feel about eating/weight loss; it could be an eating disorder. But it could also be an different illness, which is why you defiantly should see someone. I hope you sort this out before it becomes an worse.

Losing the weight is good, but not the missing meals. Try picking up some meal supplement drinks, there is this one called "On The Go" and it has some really delicious flavors like chocolate and strawberry and vanilla, you can drink one of those instead of having lunch or breakfast, I use to have those during the school year because I sleep in to late for a real breakfest. >_> Anyway, I hope I could help, and as everyone else said, a visit to the doc can't hurt.

Ok, I may seem like a complete wuss but I am afraid of doctors or hospitals and such. Jess, my knee came out of it's socket and they did nothing but tell me to go home. I'll try some of the other methods though, such as Ian's, and I'll do my best. Thanks everyone.

Regardless of whether you're scared at them or not, you need to see them. A fear of doctors and hospitals is something you need to overcome. If you get injured and need to go to the hospital, you can't say you're to scared to go.

How about a dietician Amy Rose? It's a completly different environmet to a doctor surgery/ hospital. They generally have a more comfortable setting, like couches. And dieticians are trained to deal with food related issues. I really hope you go see someone Amy Rose, this situation as a bit like dejavu, one of my friends is also suffering similar eating problems, and she's also afraid of doctors. I hope you sort it out soon

Ok Amy Rose, one thing for sure, I definietly don't believe you should eat less or eat nothing for good in order for you to loose weight. That is really unhealthy for anyone. Having 3 meals a day is a must, but if your finding yourself being picky, then I would think about having 5 light meals a day instead of 3, because we should be eating something every few hours a day. Nothing heavy, like a big roast for dinner, but something small, like a nice sandwich, rolls, stir fry etc. I guess thats why at school they gave us two breaks, recess and lunch. And, just in case, if you like your junk food, like chocolate for example, I wouldn't suggest quiting that either, but eating unhealthy stuff "in moderation" can also be good, and help with cravings imo. As for seeing a doctor, usually I would suggest it but if you have people who genuinly care about you, like your parents, try talking to them first, and if you want to, see a dietician or even a nutritianist (I forgot how to spell it ), I don't know if there is a difference between them but yeah, I saw a nutritianist and they were cool ^^ But overall, don't quit eating for good
