I was thinking about this, and how about a board for new members and old members? Like, once you reach a certain post count you can talk in older members board, and then the newer members could have there own board where they can talk and mods can post rules and stuff? What do you think?

o.0
Why?
Also, I'm not sure if there's a capability with Proboards that allows requiring a certain postcount to post in a board. I've never seen that with any other boards I've worked with.

Well, it would be nice to have the mature member board because their have been a few immature fight and what not going on between newer members, and it seems a few people have been joining just because there friends are members. With the mature board you could ask a serious question and get a reply serious reply.
I know there is nothing physically stopping them, they just wouldn't be allowed. *shrugs*

Besides, post count does not reflect post quality, if anything, this sort of separation would only encourage useless posts(not necessarily here, but on forums, in general)

I have never seen something like that on other forums, but if it can be done, that would probably be a big job for Betty Ann

Aww, I thought you meant an age-limited board for posting adult fanfics (Hint: in many online communities, the least mature members are the ones whose postcounts are highest, or at least increase most quickly.)

I've seen something like that on another forum I go to, but that wasn't a proboard and it wasn't a "mature board" it was just a download board you could get into after reaching a certain number of posts.
Plus, I've been here since 2006, deleted my account, and came back this year. Just because I don't have a lot of posts doesn't mean I'm not an old member.

I was referring to the overall forum itself by the word board.
At any rate, I thinks it's obvious this idea is not going to be going anywhere so I'm just gonna lock this I suppose, if someone disagrees they can unlock it. <3
