Anyone have any lines from the dub that they actually prefer?  I have a few (can't remember them all off the top of my head)... but I know for a fact I prefer Serena's "Ooooooh I forgot the MOTHBALLS... eeeeaaaaaaa!" line in episode 14 of the dub, when she finds her hole ridden bathing suit (originally ep 17. LOL ^^;; |

I liked Artemis' line in episode 40: Day of Destiny

I don't know, I've seen very few dub episodes I did like the little rejoinder in Cyprine's episode, after she says "I am Cyprine, last and greatest of the Witches 5!" -- "So why didn't they use you first?" Totally spoils the atmosphere of the episode, of course, but taken in isolation it's funny. |

Lol,Holy cheese (the only kind of holy cheese is Swiss. ) The only one that I can think of that I prefer is in episode 40: Mercury: No one ever Said that this was going to be safe. (i love the "I still pity you") The problem is, some of the voice actors do not do well, and they ruin a line. Not bashing the dub or anything; they may have done it in the original Japanese, but I can't tell. |

Well in the SuperS movie I like Diana's line something along the lines of "too much chocolate can make you fat" and then everybody sweatdropping better than "then Makoto-san has already grasped happiness?" and everybody sweatdropping.
And I like it better when Serena says "Yours are funny looking just like you!" better than her saying something about Chibi-usa's ugly cookies being no match for hers. XD
lol that's pretty good.

Yeah, her laugh in the japanese version is like 10 times better/creepier but the line itself in the English version is funnier lol

Definitely the "OHOHOOHOHOHOHO! Look at how beautiful and unburnt my cookies turned out! Yours are funny looking JUSTLIKEYOUUUUU!" XD I laughed so hard the first time I heard it. The Japanese dialogue there is funny too, but not quite as amusing.

I can't say I prefer it over the original line, but Lita asserting that she has the most "talent" never fails to crack me up. Yes, Lita, you have massive... talent. I also love the cookies line from the SuperS movie. And Sailor Moon telling Nehelenia "I still pity you" fits much better than "I won't lose to you" to me. |
