I really HATE freewebs, it annoys me to the fullest.
Any other good FREE hosting sites?
Answers appreciated.

Angelfire is really good,IMHO;as long as you use the Basic Editor in Angelfire, you can build a good website in minutes! Angelfire makes it easy to learn how to build a website.I tried using other free hosts such as Geocities, but those other hosts made trying to make a site confusing and difficult;they do not make site-bulding directions very clear.

All of them have their areas of irritation.. I dislike them all, but I would actually say Freewebs is lesser of all evils.
Edit: I actually just remembered sailormoon.com does free websites and they're pretty decent.

First of all, I really recommend Starlit Webhosting. They're the only host company I now use. They're a new company, so they have some shortcomings. For example, sometimes the link to the Cpanel breaks for a little bit. But they have a lot of good stuff. -Subdomain (that is, you name.starlithost.info); -No ads; -Plenty of space and bandwith; -Support for PHP, MySQL, and basically anything beyond HTML and CSS; -Free, quick installs of programs like WordPress and PHPBB; -Very recent versions PHP, PHP MyAdmin, and MySQL; -A really handy Cpanel (including an online FTP client). I've also experienced absolutely ZERO downtime with them. The problems I've experienced: -The login name isn't the same as your subdomain, and you can't choose it; -The CPanel link breaks once in a while (then again, it broke just after they had upgraded their version of MySQL, so that might be why); -I can't figure out the PHP path for things like PHP headers and footers, so I have to ask. If Starlit isn't your thing, anything in the Byethost family (such as 110mb) are all very good, but each have their own strengths and shortcomings. However, none of these hosts have a free web builder. You have to know HTML. But there are plenty of good resources for learning, if you don't know it.

I use www.t35.com. It's pretty great, but it has no easy website builders, HTML knowledge is required. It does put asmall ad on every page, but besides that it offers unlimited bandwith and webspace. You also get a subdomain, blahblahblah.t35.com.

www.110mb.com + no ads/banners! + looot of space (5 GB) + PHP 4 and 5 more hereThe disadvantages... - sometimes your site cannot be displayed, but this is only for short periods of time - you must have good knowledge of html
