Actually, in my humble opinion, the best place to learn HTML or any other kind of web coding, is W3 Schools, since it covers most of the important web thingys like HTML, XML, browser and server scripting and much more... It even has a try-it-yourself-right-now feature! Enjoy your lecture

Oh, and while we're at free hosts: www.110mb.com -> you'll get 2 GBs hosting space(ironical, neh? ^_^) 100 GB transfer... and much more... however, due to the fact that loads of people register each hour, the regs won't be up until the 7th this month... Meh, your choice!
