Alrightie, I'm confused. I've always been taught that you're supposed to upload images and such to your website host...
However, I've seen very decent-looking sites hosting their images on Photobucket. .-. I'm just confused. Where is the best place to host images for a website?

The main reason you have probably heard that is in regards to direct linking. One shouldn't direct link to an image on someone else's server because that would be using their bandwidth and more or less stealing. Photobucket and sites like it are made for direct linking. They are basically a place to put a lot of stuff that you intend to direct link to. So, if you have a small site on Geocities or something and you run out of free space to store files, you can get a PB account to add more stuff without having to worry about direct linking.
