I am learning to make web pages, and I was wondering if anyone could help clear up any of the (several) questions I have about viewing web pages in different web browsers. I had been using Internet Explorer all the time until recently, when I discovered that we have Mozilla Firefox on our computer (I feel like such an idiot for not noticing before ><; I've heard people say that Firefox is better, so I've been looking at the same web pages twice, first in Internet Explorer, then in Firefox, and I only see minor differences between the two, such as line spacing. Now, I was wondering: -Is it possible to make the same web page look exactly the same in both browsers? -What are some things that need to be considered when making a web page compatable(?) with more than one web browser? -Why is it that some pictures look darker in one web browser than in the other?

I hate the fact that you have to work with so many browsers!! In my experience, though, if you can make something work in both IE and Firefox, it will work in any browser. Firefox has a lot of CSS bugs that you have to work around to make things look the way you want them to.
You should look up CSS bugs on Firefox (I think it has something about it on their page), and you'll find out what I'm talking about. You pretty much just have to play with the code until it works right in both :\
