I can't believe that Heath Ledger is DEAD!!! That is like... the saddest thing I've heard in such a long time. It makes me upset, which is weird because usually when celebrities die it just gets me annoyed that people get in such an upset about someone they don't know dying, but now I understand because I'm soooo sad about that news!! They said he tried to commit suicide once, and that the new Joker role was getting to his head and making him start to kind of go screwy in the head, and also that all the work was making him so tired that he was taking waaay too many sleeping pills, so there were a lot of possibilities as to why, but he definitely did OD from sleeping medication and that is sooooo sad He was such a great actor, and I can't believe he's gone... He always had such a gorgeous smile... and he left his poor little baby girl behind without a father :/ it's so sad....

I know, I was really shocked when I went to the Tower of Times General board and saw "Heath Ledger is dead!" He was a really good actor. And he had the guts to play a role most others wouldn't (Brokeback Mountain). I fill so sorry for his little girl.

I know it was really sad I was on my way to the post office when they announced it on the radio. I liked his "Knights tale" and was hoping they'd make a second one.

I KNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD: He was a brilliant actor, but even then his talents went beyond acting. When I read the news yesterday morning (7:00 am Philippine time/+8:00 GMT), I had had no sleep, so I was thinking that it was either some big joke intended to aggressively promote The Dark Knight, or I was just imagining things.
Ahhhh, Heath, to borrow your line in Brokeback Mountain, I can't quit you. T.T

I feel terrible for his family....especially his 2 year old. I'd hate to lose my father like that

When I read the headline on Yahoo! I though it was some type of wonky joke -- That was until I read the article and saw the pictures from the scene. It's so sad that such talent was taken out.

I read a celeb gossip site, and a few days before his death, there was a post about Heath called, "HEATH HANGS HIMSELF!!!!" Everyone was like, "OMG!" But it was really just him filming some very creepy scenes from a new movie he was working on. Then when he actually died, it was very weird, looking back on that post...

Gah, it...it sucks. My friend Carrie, who's seen every movie he's been in and is a huge fan, called me at work...she was crying...aahhhhh...NOES! His poor daughter...and he's not even going to get to see TDK, which he was working so hard on....It's going to be really sad (and kinda creepy) going to see that movie now.......I saw on "Good Morning America" a few days ago about how Jack Nicholson personally warned him not to get overly involved in the Joker role.....it kinda sent chills down my spine...RIP.

I was shocked when I heard it! It was unbelievable. What else to say? I liked him, and it's so depressing.

I am so glad to hear that someone from our little country has touched so many people. I was sad to hear of his passing and my heart goes out to his little girl too. I fell for him in 10 Things I Hate About you too

I saw only a few movies with Heath, but I liked him. I actually found out he had died 3 days after...because I don't watch TV and my Internet was down (that's where I get most of my news feed from). My sister said to me "Do you know Heath Ledger died?" and I was like "No! OMG When?"...I was shocked because he was so young! I mean, 28 years old...way too young. I was also shocked when I heard they suspect he died of a coronary - that's really NOT something you'd see coming in a 28 year old.
