The Simpsons is probably my favorite show ever, even if the episodes have been a little... off the past few years. I'm a huge Simpsons trivia nerd and I even still have some Simpsons comics from the early '90s. I'm even putting together a Lisa costume for next year because everyone compares me to her.
Hah, I just watched the movie last night. I went and saw it in theaters and got the DVD just after Christmas, but I didn't get a chance to watch it until recently. The scene where Marge tapes over their wedding video and Homer runs off looking for her and the kids makes me cry every time.
"That could be anybody's pig-crap silo!"

The Simpsons Movie was the first movie I EVER bought with my own money (or vouchers ) I have grown up watching The Simpsons and have always seen it as a part of my life. I can relate to Lisa soooo much. The Movie? The best thing ever!!! Matt and the team have done themselves proud. Julie's performance for the video when she leaves Homer was beautiful. Apparantly, she had to do that sooooo many times. She even come through a blizzard to get to the studio. The best line for me in the whole movie: "I like men now" I could not stop laughing at that! Spider Pig was originally from someone just randomely singing it in the production room. They wanted a pig and someone (I think it was Dan C.) started singing "Spider Pig" and everyone loved it and decided to keep it in. Also, Russ Cargill is an actual person. If you read the notice at the beginning of the movie, you'll see his signature at the bottom of the screen. Arnold Schwarzenegger, furthermore, had no idea he was even being featured in the movie so the creators would have had no idea how he has reacted. That's all I can think of at the moment If I can remember anything else, I'll post it xD

Yeah, I believe it was Dan Castallaneta (who does Homer's voice as well as Krusty, Barney, etc) Matt said it's dedicated to the guy who made the original SpiderMan opening xD
I just can't get over how they put Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie and he had no idea until it was released xD

I remember that episode where in the future, Lisa is about to marry that English guy and Maggie was a teenager and she tries to speak but someone always shuts her up ;D How funny it was!

Three times she tries to speak...three times! One of them was singing! 1) On the phone, she rolled her eyes and the screen cut back to the kitchen before she spoke 2) She was going to speak while eating, but Marge stopped her from "talking with her mouth full" 3) She was about to sing with her "beautiful voice" (Dr Hibbert) and just as she took a breath... Hugh (English guy) ran in and stopped everything!
She speaks in one episode though and then at the end of "The Simpsons Movie" (during the credits, she says "sequel?")
