Has anyone else seen it yet?
'Cause if you haven't, you should.
It's amazing. Absolutely splendiforous. My next paycheck, I'm running out to get the soundtrack. Mmmhmm.
Oh, and anyone who's seen it, what's your favorite scene? Mine is the "By The Sea" scene, where Mrs. Lovett (sp?) is talking about her daydreams and future plans....SO GOOD.

i haven't seen this movie but i'm planning too. i love Johnny Depp because he's such a great actor and he was super funny in At World's End (Pirates). i have seen the trailer of Sweeny Todd and it was really... dark ^__^;;, and i got excited seeing Johnny Depp sing, and i got interested because the actors who played Prof. Snape and Bellatrix Lestrange in Harry potter are there. ^__^

Yeah, I was thinking about how Snape and Lestrange are in that movie....Like, there's one part where I expect the actor who plays Snape (Alan Rickman) to hiss "Misssster Potter" at the end of his sentance. Great movie. And yay, Mr. Depp got a Golden Globe for best Actor for this movie!!!

I actually didn't care for it as much as I thought I would. It's a shame. I did love the music though, and I own the soundtrack.

I'm not a Sweeney Todd fan, but I've got a funny story attached to it.
My best friend is a huge fan of this because she worked on it when her high school drama club did it for their play. So naturally, she was all stoked about the movie. They went and saw it on opening night. Her boyfriend arranged for some slides to show up on the big screen using Lord of the Rings quotes to propose to her before the movie started. By the end of the movie, they heard people asking, "Why did he propose to her during this?" Haha.

I really want to watch this movie! I told my mum so, and she said "Do you even know what it's about?" And I said, "No." And then she told me. So now, I want to watch it more.

It surprised me that Tim Burton would made a movie with that amount of blood. I... kinda liked it. The most awesome moment was when Lovett was singing about the beach thingys and it showed cheesy moments but with Todd's inexpressive face. The worst? The DAMN Johanna song. Geez, it was really annoying.
Anyway... not the best movie, but a nice musical.

I loved it so deeply! Spectacular. That was exactly as I thought, and even better. Tim BUrton is confirmed to be a genius. The blood part didn't scare me: we were used to Sleepy Hollow once, remember? I couldn't wait to the return of his gory part!
