Serafirefly and usagi said this was a good idea so here it goes. As you know the monsers of the day in the first two seasons of Sailor Moon stole energy from people, but did anyone know that there are real energy vampires? Apparently there are people out there who can actually make you feel tired, or stressed.

Other than the one shown in the Anti-Sailor Moon sites page Ask Jeeves gives many other websites you'd be able to check out. I just typed in the question "What is an energy vampire?" when I looked it up. It has also been talked about in a remake version of the show "In Search of" once but I don't know where to get those. Your best bet would probably be the website.

I'm not sure exactly but the article gives advice for that. It says to just walk away. There are also five things you could do if caught in a situation you can't get out of: 1. recognize the signs 2. take a deep breath 3. use your energy 4. set boundaries 5. step back I believe that these are her own suggestions though. The article goes into much more detail. By the way for those who just stared reading this thread to read the article I'm talking about is at this link www.oprah.com/health/omag/health_omag_200204_energy.jhtml

They're also called 'emotional vampires.' I know this one girl... omg, she's the worst. She makes everyone around her feel horrible! Unfortunately, I had to live with her for a year (I moved in before I knew how horrible she was), and it made me see things very differenity. I'm so glad to finally be away from her, so I can be a happy person again!!

I heard that those kind of people can make te people around them phisically sick. I think I heard it on "In Search Of" or somewhere. Never heard of them being called emotional vampires. Makes sense though.
