Did anyone know they're making this into a movie? Also would anyone like to see it?

I would love to see it! I'm a huge Lord of the Rings fan, and many LotR fans are also Narnia fans...(plus CS Lewis and Tolkien were friends!)

For some reason I like movies, and stories with talking animals in them. As for the Lord of the Rings, I can't call myself a fan because I've never seen it or read the series but I'd like to.

Defenately want to see Chronicles of Narnia. I've never read the book(s) but I remember seeing the animated version and an older live action version a long time ago. And it's true, Tolkien and Lewis were friends and they actually formed their own writing club at Oxford University (I think it was called The Inklings). However, Tolkien and Lewis hated each other's works. I especially like Lord of the Rings. The books were kind of dull, in a lot of places, but the movies were spectacular.

You should definately get the books. They are great. Also I think I remember an older live action version of the books. Wasn't it on the Disney Channel?

I just got back from seeing the movie and I thought it was great! Still not as great as Lord of the Rings though. I thought the older sister (I think her name was Susan) was cute.

Yes Susan was the name of the older one. From the comercials it looks like the special effects or whatever location they used for the scenery is excelent.

I really want to see that movie! The commercials for it make it seem so addicting and I've also read the book.

Hopefully they make movies out of the whole series. I would really like to see what they do for the first and last ones.

Unfortunately, I haven't read the other books, but I wouldn't mind seeing the movies of them if they did make them.

The other books were great. You should read the rest of the series.

How many are there? And do they have the same characters?

There are seven books. No they don't have the same main characters but there is at least one that stays the same. That would be the lion, Aslan. Some characters do come back in the very last book though. There is a lot more things I can say but I coudn't really do that because it would be giving away the other stories.
