You're probably thinking, "Oh no." But I'm back anyway from my three days in hell. The food was good, I was warm, and my body cannot take any more physical exercise.
A bike ride that was supposedly 40km turned out to be 53km. I fell over several times, and once I ran into a very prickly blueberry thorn bush! OUCH! ;D
My first hike wasn't too bad, but it was soooooo tiring, it wasn't funny. Deep fried Mars bars is what kept me going. ;D
A wombat broke into one of the tents and ate half of the person's food, so we had to move our food from our tents. It was funny, and there were wasps, scorpions, millipedies by the bucketful, the odd wombat, rosellas, crows, kookaburras... Apparently there were snakes but I didn't see any...
My second hike was terrible. Climbing up a mountain -- a very steep mountain! 15 minutes in, a guy in my group decided that, yes, his ankle was hurting enough for him to stop! We had to backtrack till we found the van, which none of us liked. Then one of my besties decided to fall on something poisonous, so it was BUH-BYE to her and HELLO to a heavy pack that was forced on my back. ;D Another of my friends was told she wasn't fit enough, which I found rather rude and insulting towards her. So she left as well. Just my, two of my friends, and a guy. Plus the one teacher that was left who wouldn't be quiet.
A very excruciatingly painful thing, and I have the bruises on my legs to prove it.
My mates copped an earful about the forum, they were saying, "Yes, that's ENOUGH about the forum already. Yes we KNOW how fantastically fantastic it is. WATCH OUT FOR THE WOMBAT!" ;D ;D
So was my time in the bush, to summon it up all shortly. ^-^
