Got something! While reading some facts about Naoko Takeuchi, I found that Naoko Takeuchi was born to Kenji and Ikuko Takeuchi. She has a younger brother named Shingo. So she used these names for Sailor Moon. I found this interesting and thought I should post it. somebody here who knows something else related to this? I'll keep on reading and search for coincidences.

From what I've heard, the major insparations behind SM were derived by Naoko-Hime from two Japanese myths. One is about a rabbit who lives on the moon and makes Mochi(a kind of pastery) which is where Usagi's name comes from. The other is about a princess from the moon who is found as a baby in a thicket of bamboo by a peasant. Other myths include the Shittennou, four astral spirits who guard the four corners of the earth as well as the Gods of Greek Mythology. Other than that, I've heard that the design for Princess Serenity's dress came form a wedding dress Naoko-hime saw.

^Yea, it's so much of a coincidence that you might actually be inclined to believe it was NOT a coincidence after all![<-sarcasm]

She probably took the names from her family for the characters, like Matt Groening for The Simpsons
