About a year ago there was a rumor going around that Joss Whedon (of Buffy the Vampire Slayer) was going to make a live action Sailor Moon movie. Now I again hear someone claim that he's actually going to do it. I seriously doubt this is true but if they actually did make an American live action Sailor Moon movie, how do you think they would screw up with the show?
I think they would make Usagi older (and therefore hotter). She'd be in high school from the start. Mamoru would be a football player, or something else cliché. And she wouldn't be Japanese because she's BLOND. And they would probably change all her attacks and fuku because superheroes don't wear that. Maybe something with a cape? I don't know ...

yeah, I have seen that before, was so funny I fell over laughing. Probably for me the worst thing they could do to sailor moon( if it were ever made over here) is hire an empty headed bunch of party girls to play the senshi. So that no matter how great the movie could have been it wont matter cause the whole production will have been plauged by their bad behavior.

I really don't think they could mess it up that badly, now that all the people who grew up with the show are older and *should* know how it's supposed to be.

of course they could, they'd employ a director and writer who'd never seen the show and give them free reign... the horrors of what they could do - party girls would be the least of the evils, you'd need therapy for a year  |

 I saw the video and it made me have the creeps! It's worse than just "kinda scary" it's horrible!! But I doubt they gonna put something like that cause it won't sell at all!... scary...

I personally think Melissa Joan Hart LOOKS too old for the part... while some actresses are too old, they could still look like teenagers.
