Well I've heard alot of rumors about Sailor moon and stuff many say it is supposedley coming in japan again since americans dont want america to have it for what they've done and stuff.
But alot of ppl saying that Live action was something alot of ppl are campiagning to come back because they want more seasons and to see others in the series such as Saturn,Neptune,Chibimoon etc(Although i say Sailor luna took her place ;D) But what do you think on it's coming back just a thought that would be awsome i say it mayjust be a pipe dream but hwo knows the author may give it up to someone else who could probley out do her and make it better.

Well I think more live action would be cool, although I haven't heard any word on that. I know for a fact that at the moment Naoko is not making any more manga. She said at one point that she might make more, but she may have taken that away at a later time since people kept making more rumors. It sounds like from an interview that she would absolutely not be, but in the final manga (I believe it was, maybe I read it somewhere else...) she said that it would be the last one for a long time, if not the last one at all. Basically, not word for word obviously. Anyway, also the anime is not expected to continue. But I think they should make the live action all the way up to date with the anime and manga. Who knows if they will or not? But it would be very awesome.

I think it's highly unlikely that we will see more live action from Japan. From the few friends I have that have been over there lately, Sailor Moon really isn't that popular anymore. People look at it nostalgically, as something they liked when they were young. The anime shops don't really have Sailor Moon stuff; it's all geared towards the new series that are out now.

that's a shame that people think of it as something that is past! i think it would be great to make more live action series... i want to see the other senshi's and all the evil people! hehe... i think it would be nice to have it happening

well, it's not new anymore, that's why it got low in popolarity... here it's not popular anymore cause they banned it entirely, but if you say sailor moon to someone they know what you are talking about...

in my opinion there shouldn't make any more live action sm,'cause it just sucks...i can't see the point of it...it's just rediculous!the way they transform and all...i don't know....i may be wrong....i'm a boy so i may be seeing things a bit more differently than you...

Wow really charmed? You didn't like it that much? I felt like as far as live action goes, they did a pretty good job. Especially the transformations! I thought it was a pretty good translation from the anime. Granted the acting was pretty cheesy at times, and the stuffed cats (OMG! XD) but I felt in general, just excited to see more to do with Sailor Moon.
I loved the costumes too. I used to not like the GIANT front bows, but they've grown on me.

No, I don't think that nowadays, everything old is considered uncool. It's just that, some people divide the past in two categories: what you must keep at any coast('cause it could be "cult, cool" or something), and what you must forget completely, and (call me a pessimist), but I think that this discrimination was made for money.
I mean, in this particular case: Sailor Moon was a craze, at least here in Italy, everyone loved it and buyed lots and lots of stuff. Now, they need to sell other things, because the SM stuff ended, and so they need another very commercial product. But! To seel new products, you need to make a craze of another anime, in this case. I remember that here, Pokemon took the place of SM in the hearts of the children/teenagers, and (what a surprise!) the SM stuff just disappeared, and the Pokemon stuff took over the world of the gadgets. -_-'

just the "resurrection" of sailor moon through the live action was almost a miracle, i don't think it will ever happen again. i mean, the japanese people get TONS AND TONS of anime everyday, i don't think they're interested in keeping a franchise like sm for this long. the anime lasted five great years, there's the manga and the sera myu, i'm good with it. about the live action, i think they should have followed the storyline from the manga, they had enough episodes to do that. too late now (the outers just don't stand a chance)... but the story had an ending, and we don't want it to become power rangers, right? i just wish i could see what chibiusa's hair would be like. scary...

Yeah, it's a shame that Sailor Moon is no longer popular. I asked a few of my male friends and surprising, all of them liked Sailor Moon! They haven't forgotten about it! They did however, only watch the American dub, and I've nudged them to see the original Japanese version. They seem pretty interested! ;D
