So what do you guys think about the new Warriors of Legend book by Genvid? I predict that it will stop being printed, because I'm pretty sure you have to have permission to do a project like that on a copyrighted work. Maybe it's Fair Use, but I'm not sure. I ordered a copy early anyway. My only concern is that it will be full of inaccuracies that Sailor Moon fans will interpret as truth. Seriously - how much can two Americans know about Japanese culture? Do they even SPEAK Japanese?

I bought it. I found it pretty interesting. Although I admit I have no way of knowing if any of it is true or not...
It seems pretty factual though.

I got my copy, but I haven't had a chance to sit down and read through it all yet. I glanced through it, though... some things pertain to Sailor Moon, but other things really seem like a stretch to me.
I also don't like the fact that although it gives facts, it never tells where the facts are found (like in what manga volume, or what episode). Instead, it just says something like, "in one episode..." That really bothers me :\

I've never heard of it until now. It does say unauthorized so somethings could be false and I'd have to agree with not liking that it says "in one episode". That's not very helpful and it makes it very hard to check if it's true by looking at the source.

Yeah, that looks really interesting to read. Unfortunately I'm currently flat broke... But trying to interpret the Japanese way of life through SM? That's kind of like trying to interpret the American way of life through The Simpsons.
Aaah, I've got to read it! ><;;

ne, can you only order it online? Or can you find it at any bookstore, like Barnes and Noble?

You can get it through Amazon.com (that's where I got it). I don't think you can actually get it from bookstores because it's through some free publishing company on the internet (you're not even buying it FROM Amazon, you're getting it from the other site, THROUGH Amazon)
