I was browsing through the news articles on Yahoo! when I came across this little gem:

China tells Tibet's living Buddhas to apply for reincarnation

Basically, if you're a Buddha living in Tibet, you now have to apply to be reincarnated...this is supposed to be "an important move to institutionalise the management of reincarnation of living Buddhas".

Oh dear.

Imagine if the Sailor Senshi had lived in Tibet?
