I'm excited Nakashima Mika's Hitoiro is just fantastic. You think so? I wasn't impressed, especially after coming from Glamourous Sky. ^_^0 I think the problem with the NANA movie franchise is that they didn't get girls who were NANA (Oozaki and Komatsu) enough, and they didn't get composers/songwriters and musicians that were Black Stones or Trapnest enough (well, save for Hyde, but gah, poor Trapnest and poor REIRA! T^T). v^_^000 I mean, I am a HUGE Mika Nakashima fan (one of the first in my parts of the world actually), but I am saddened that no matter how hard she tries (and I love her so much for trying), she just ... ISN'T NANA. (Must I mention how sad it is that Reira doesn't get the music she deserves, and that Yuna Ito isn't getting so much love either?) I guess it's how the manga has brainwashed me...

I think Mika fit the role of Nana perfectly, but you're right, the songs do seem kind of out of place. Glamorous Sky was too peppy to be a song from Blast and Hitoiro is too slow(the alternative version is also too happy like). Yuna Ito also seems out of place in the movies, but when you think about it, it's kind of difficult to portray Reira(maybe it's the hair?). Hopefully the second movie is better than the first.

For having a kick-@$$ Mika-chan icon + signature set (that's from LEGEND right? ), and for liking Yuna Ito, I'll give you karma!
