First, I don't know if this question fits this section of the board, so feel free to move it to where it belongs. I just have one question about the Artbooks that I can't firgue out.
On mangastyle.net, there are the translated liner notes by Takeuchi-san about how she did a picture & why she did it. Well, in almost every picture she says she uses "color ink" to color them. Does anyone know what this color ink is? [here is an example: mangastyle.net/artbooks/genga1a.htm]
The reason why I ask is because I am seriously considering making my own manga, & I want to lean more to the old fashion ways instead of doing everything digitally.
If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it! ^_^

it's some ink you use for drawing. I think it's something like the ink you use for your printer. I can't give you so many details, but I wanted to give you this link: answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=1006052020808 , as you said you would like to draw your own manga ^^

Prismacolor markers are very nice as well but they are also quite expensive. I think if one is serious about being a mangaka, they should invest in the copics.

Thank you guys so much! ^^
I've seen the Copic Markers in an Arts & Crafts store in my town & they're about $5 per maker, but they will definitely be a good investment!
Thanks again!

ivanneth, maybe just get a few of them at first to experiment and see how you like them before you invest in a while set.
