You know, I feel that I might not have been entirely fair to those people who don't like or never heard any of Phil Collins' music so I decided to make another thread.
For those of you who don't know or like Phil Collins if you were to change the dub music (not that I have a problem with the music from the original Japanese or the dub for that matter) to songs you would want to hear, which would you choose?

I think they should have some Linkin Park songs.

I have never heard any Linkin Park songs before but I just went to a site that shows some of the lyrics. Judging by what I've read, that would be an interesting idea. I can see a few of the songs fitting in different places.

I think Smile.dk would be good at places. The super sweet and catchy songs would go well with the series's sugariness. (If you play DDR, you've probally heard their song "Butterfly".)

I have never heard their songs but currently have read the lyrics to butterfy. It looks very much like they'd fit with the show. Especially this particular song.

You've never *twitch* heard Linkin Park *twitch* NOO! you must hear it! AAH you've been missing the best thing in life! *falls to the ground dead* I LOVE LINKIN PARK! Linkin Park is the best.... AAH! sorry... anyway, yeah, Linkin Park is a good choice.... *twitch* Fort Minor is good as well, but I can't really see anything that has that much rap in it in Sailor Moon. Don't get me wrong, a lot of the lyrics would fit very well, but I dunno... music doesn't seem very fitting? Maybe I am just crazy? ANYWAY! ^^;;

I see what you are saying. Rap may not be able to fit much with Sailor Moon. Still there might be a few places in there. I couldn't think of any. If there isn't a way in its rap form they can change it to a different style.

Sailor Moon with rap. LOL! That would be interesting. Hey, the dub is almost a parody of the original version, so why not?

Another one that would be great is Josh Groban, he has such a lovely voice, and some of the lyrics would fit very well

I think I found one of his sites before. I was looking at the "songs" icons and was curious about the lyrics on one so I looked it up. I definately agree at least from the lyrics I have read.

Probably just as perfectly as Phil Collins' songs.

I'm terribly sorry for double posting but I wanted to revive this topic somehow if only for a while. To night I found a song that I thought would go very well with Sailor Moon. It is called "Knights in White Satin". I have heard it before and tonight I read the lyrics and I thought they went well with whole subject of love in the story.
Once again sorry for double posting.

Some of the songs I used:
"That's The Way I Wanna Rock N Roll" by AC/DC "Working For The Weekend" by Loverboy "High Hopes" by Sammy Hagar A tune by Billy Idol (don't know which one yet) "Way Cool Jr." by Ratt "(I'll Give You) Money" by Peter Frampton "New Sensation" by INXS "Fire Woman" by The Cult "Unskinny Bop" by Poison "Don't Let Me Be The One" by Nu Shooz A tune by Steve Winwood A tune by Motorhead A tune by Motley Crue "Holiday" by Green Day (and I guess a couple of other GD tunes) A couple of tunes by Paul McCartney "Just One Night" by Eric Martin "Two People" by Tina Turner "Private Joy" by Prince "Forever Young" by Alphaville "Penny Lover" by Lionel Richie
I can't think of anything else right now. If SM used any licensed english language songs, I see it as a show that would use a variety of different genres, and not just one particular genre (kinda like the Charlie's Angels films or something like those).
