thank you so much! i was thinking about including manga & the commercial images, but i've decided not to. my image galleries are already big enough without those, episode 99 is 50+ alone! also, i'm trying to only offer pictures of sailormars that aren't the run of the mill, generic, on every other site pictures. that's why you won't find her attacks or transformations on my site.
i was actually thinking about screencapping the movies also. there's a hilarious scene from the s movie that i would love to make availible.. but first i should finish the episodes.. only the fourth season left to cap!

hello again.... after reading your post I randomly went to see your website again. I see you changed the layout. Although I can tell that the image is really pretty, it looks broken on my browser. I use Firefox and have the screen resolution of 1024x768. So yeah, I just wanted to let you know. I think it could be because the table space isn't big enough...? I remember I had a problem similar to this for a layout. Only the top and bottom images look broken... the rest is perfect!

It looks great in IE, but it's broken in Firefox for me, too. I didn't really look over your source info that thoroughly, but I noticed that you're using a lot of line breaks in your layout, possibly to line things up where you want them. I think you should switch to div layers instead of tables, so that you can use absolute positioning to acheive what you want.
I also noticed that you're using percentages in some places. Those are pretty notorious for not working in Firefox.
That said, I hate Firefox. A lot of times you have to "trick" it into working for you, because it has a lot of bugs in it still. BUT the good news is, if you can make something work in Firefox, it will work in pretty much any browser there is.
Also, I love your new layout, and your site is really growing ^^;

That said, I hate Firefox. I love Firefox. I think maybe it doesn't work because percentages are more of a generalization...? I haven't done a website in a long time. ><

I love Firefox. I think maybe it doesn't work because percentages are more of a generalization...? I haven't done a website in a long time. >< I think they feel that percentages are somehow "outdated." But then again, HTML is also outdated - you can use CSS for everything. But really, who does that?? Not me! You can't just NOT support "outdated" things, especially if those things are still very popular to use. Percentages are a generalization, but they are very effective to use. For example, if you want an element to cover the entire length of a browser window, but you don't know the resolution of all your visitors, it's very useful to be able to use 100%. There are ways to work around it in Firefox, but there's not really a good way to work the way it would in IE. Firefox is ok, but I don't think it's all everyone makes it out to be. Tabbed browsing is cool, and everyone just turns flips about how much more secure it is... but I don't really have any security problems with IE. My boyfriend goes on and on about how it's better because there are less ads, but I have google toolbar on my computer and I don't have a problem with ads, either. I think that Firefox would be a much better browser if they'd just fix all the css bugs and actually start accepting a lot of legitimate code. I think they should even accept code that ISN'T perfect (which IE does), because nobody's perfect all the time.

Actually, Betty, the new version of Firefox I find almost too forgiving. Sometimes I am missing some tags and Firefox figures it out, so I never notice it's messed up until I see it on IE. @_@ Hehe But yeah, there is something messed up with the columns on the site with the layout in FF.

thanks so much for the input..
i don't have firefox and i'm not planning on downloading it anytime soon, so unfortunately, the site will pretty much be an ie-friendly site only. however, i think that there's not really anything you can do to make a page look good on every single browser, or for every resolution.. should i maybe post that on the splash page?
this may sound lame, but i asked the webmastering teacher at my school what the best percentage was and he said that 90% should look good on most browsers.
betty ann, you're exactly right, i used a lot of of line breaks to line things up because i couldn't figure out another way to make it aligned! i would love to use div layers, but i don't know what they are, if you could maybe give me a brief summary on what to do, or a site with tutorials i would be so grateful!
again, thank you so much for the comments!

Good job on the div layers! It took me about a day to figure them out, too... they're pretty easy once you get the hang of it. I like to use an external style sheet so I don't have to type everything all on one page, but one lesson at a time, I guess ^^; If you need any help, just ask! Also, if you want to check out my code for examples, you can see my stylesheets at soul-hunter.com/style.csssoul-hunter.com/sailormoon/style.css etc. Basically where it has the # symbol, that's the content I used for a div layer. I learn best by looking at examples and working from there; that's how I learned to do it ^^;
