I like the idea of Dakota Fanning as Chibiusa, or maybe Dakota Blue Richards (is anyone else entertained by the fact that two of big child stars of right now are named Dakota and have curly blonde hair? XD)
Usagi...I'll get back to you on that. Just not, like, Lindsay Lohan. Or Hilary Duff. Y'know.

I don't know about the others, but Keira Knightley HAS to play Haruka or a Sailro Starlight. She was born for that purpose. I know that she has been waiting for that all her life. I can totally picture her as Sailor Uranus and, also, as Sailor Star Maker

Mh, I see her more like Haruka, I don't know why. She's beautiful! I thought about Hilary Swank as a perfect Sailor Star Maker!

I can't disscuss that, after all, she already disguised herself as a man in Boys don't cry and she won an Oscar for it !! She'd be a perfect Star Maker

I wish Hollywood would just stop with turning cartoons into live-action movies. So far,Hollywood has butchered He-Man,Flintstones,Josie & the Pussycats,UnderDog,Popeye,Inspector Gadget,Fat Albert,Scooby-Doo,the Mario Brothers and Street Fighter. No doubt they're butchering poor Speed Racer as well. If they ever make a live action movie of Sailor Moon, you can bet that they'll butcher that as well. The only good jobs Hollywood did were Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and a live-action 101 Dalmations. In those 2 movies, they kept the characters pretty much IC and did not change familiar things. In the other movies I mentioned, the characters were barely IC,and personalaties were butchered(anyone remember how terribly OOC Freddy and Scrappy-Doo were in the Scooby-Doo movie?).Right now I hear Hollywood is doing a live-action Mighty Mouse movie;they'll probably butcher that classic, too.
I am praying Hollywood never gets its slimy hands on animes and cartoon classics like Sailor Moon,Yogi Bear,Hong Kong Phooey,Pokemon,Thundarr the Barbarian,Smurfs, etc. If I have to see Brad Pitt as Tuxedo Mask or Angelina Jolie as Ranger Smith's girlfriend or Paris Hilton as Misty Waterflower or Jennifer Lopez as Smurfette,I swear I will scream so loud that the windows will break. I am just so sick and tired of Hollywood having to turn cartoons and anime into live-action garbage. If they MUST re-make cartoons and animes, why can't they do it completely in CGI(like Curious George and Mickey Mouse "Twice Upon A Christmas") and learn to keep the characters In Character?

Allot of those movies you said butchered classics are movies that I love. Speed Racer was supposed to be a very GOOD movie, even though it was not original. I never saw speed racer the movie, OR the show, but thank Hollywood for making them, and trying their best. sorry if I made you sound like a jerk, or me sound like a jerk, I'm just saying I disagree with your statement.

You didnt make me sound like a jerk. It's that I think hollywood doesn't even TRY to be 100 % faithful to the classics. They tend to be something like 1% -3 % faithful while tossing in things like un-needed toilet humour(like the farting scene in Scooby-Doo) or just incredibily stupid lines(anyone remember the incredibly stupid "I ain't got no face" line in Fat Albert?) that should'nt of even been created. Sorry if I come off as somewhat opinionated, but that's the way I feel about Hollywood.

Hollywood can be stupid sometimes, but at least they don't keep doing remakes.

It is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to stay 100% faithful to a remake.
Times change. Interpretations change.
People have to learn how to transition.

^ Yeah, I'm ok with transition but I agree with Haruka_Michiru; so many remakes just butcher the originals.

Well, that is a PERSONAL opinion. I don't believe Hollywood has butchered any movies. I see them as an interpretation.
Although, apparently, Emmy Rossum (she was Christine in Phantom of the Opera) is going to be Bulma in a live-action Dragonball movie.
This greatly disturbs me.

I think as far as when they make them into live action, it is either sink or swim. They are usually either great as movies or absolutely horrible.
