Sage picked up the crystals that Potassium had delivered. She looked at them "They will do" and she moved towards her cabinet and opened the draw containing the Chaos Shard. Sage took it out and placed it back onto the table with the others. She sat down in her chair and looked at them. Sage smiled and then moved in close to the crystals. She picked up the Chaos Shard and levitated it in the air. She flicked her wrist and the Choas Shard shattered into 7 pieces. Sage picked out one of the pieces and picked up one of the crystals on the table and held them together. With a bright flash Sage merged the Chaos shard with the usless crystal. The Crystal now began to glow brightly. Sage smiled and admired her work before repeating the process on the remaining 6 pieces of the Chaos Shard.
Sage finished and placed the glowing shards on her desk. They glowed brightly next to each other iluminating the room. "That will do nicely. That should help the useless twirps out"

Dark Potassium smiled almost playfully as she saw Spider's threat. "Ehhh, so you don't want to pay attention to your master then? Oh I'm sure she wouldn't be very happy at all if you didn't hear what she wanted to say. She'll be sending you help. I don't think she thinks you can handle such a thing by yourself," she said with a slight trace of venom in her voice. "Heh, at least Cricket knows when something is going to fail." She turned on her heel, and left to go cause mischeif elsewhere.

Rei was in the hall, approaching the room where Makoto had put Hotaru on the bed to rest, when she heard a voice calling out to her from the very room she was heading to. She hurried to her friend. "Hotaru-chan, are you all right?", Rei asked with a note of worry in her voice.

"Rei? Hotaru-chan?" Makoto mumbled, starting to wake up. As she opened her eyes she saw Rei kneeling next to Hotaru. She didn't immediately understand what was happening but as soon as her mind started thinking, she realised something was wrong.

" I'm...I'm fine, I think Mirchu or Setsuna or Haruka might be worring about me, can some one call them?" Hotaru asked quietly

{OOC: Ian, major karma for introducing us into the play! } Haruka was watching a Motograndprix race rerun on cable. She was dead set on taking part in it next year, and was in fact running laps for it at the Motegi paddocks in between college classes. For some reason though, even with her consistent and rather high time trial records, none of the local bike teams had expressed interest in her even as a wildcard. But that was life. At least there were no enemies on the horizon for now. And yet, she couldn't help thinking that a storm was brewing, and that it was going to catch her, and her family, unaware. Speaking of family, where was Hotaru? Michiru was going to get her gut for being lenient on the child one of these days... ================== Meanwhile, in Crystal Tokyo, Chibiusa was reading one of her mother's many comic books. This was her favourite compilation, "Best Friends". She'd been scolded time and again because they were simply manga, or irresponsible drawings, and therefore unfit for a princess like her... but could she help it when the stories reminded her so much of Usagi and Mamoru, and all their friends in the past? Armed with a stick of Pocky in her hand and another in her mouth, she began reading the next title in the compilation, which was about a young girl who had to become a thief so that important treasures and mementos would be returned. In this new chapter, the thief was about to be caught by the handsome detective, who was actually her classmate in school. But tonight she wasn't really paying attention to the story at all. The one thought running through her mind was, "I wonder how they're doing back there... Usagi-chan, Mamo-chan, and everybody..."

Haruka heard a sudden ring from the phone. "Hotaru-chan, please let this be you," she muttered under her breath, counting the seconds till Michiru finished whatever she wanted to wrap up (which was the only reason why she wasn't grilled over Hotaru's disappearance).
She lifted the receiver. "Hello?"

"Hi haruka, I am at rei's, can you pick me up, and," she added nervously " maybe say hello to the rei and makato?" 'Yes! Sorry I ever doubted you Kamisama!' Haruka chuckled to herself, relieved that it was Hotaru on the other end, and that she was with a friend. Then she realized that Hotaru asked her to say hello to the other girls. She quickly looked for a sheet of paper and a pen or pencil, finding only a pencil so she could jot down a quick note to Michiru, just in case her lover was busy (whenever Michiru was absorbed in her own world of paints and violins, it was difficult to get her to return to the present). While writing she replied, "Sure!", not really catching the anxiety in her daughter's voice.

When Rei brought Hotaru the phone so she can call Haruka (or Michiru or Setsuna), she politely took a few steps away from Hotaru so she wouldn't intrude on her phone call too much. Most of her mind was present in the current situation and envolved in the ongoing talk between Hotaru and Haruka, but the other, smaller part was still thinking about the fire and Hotaru's reaction to it. She wasn't really sure what to think. Rei really wanted to ask Hotaru more about what she saw but she was worried that it would bring back the trauma, and she didn't want that. When Haruka comes to pick her up maybe I'll talk to her about it and about what to do the raven haired miko finally concluded. *** (OOC NOTE: since we kinda got to the evening in the events involving Hotaru, Rei, Haruka and Makoto - or at least I got the idea it was evening, it's evening for Ami too. ) After studying the whole afternoon Ami realized it was evening and closed her books. Although she loved to study, sometimes her head hurt after a long study session too. The best way to clear my head is to take a stroll in the cool evening air she concluded and got off her chair. Ami took a long sleeved shirt from the closet and put it over the T-shirt she was already wearing. Then she stepped out into the hall. The flat in which she lived with her mother was quiet since her mother, the busy doctor, was at work down at the hospital again. In case her mom got back earlier (which was not very likely to happen), Ami wrote a short note for her (just in case the not likely thing did happen and Ami liked to be prepared). Smiling with a bit of satisfaction she put on her shoes, unlocked the doors and stepped out into the stairway, carefully locking the doors behind her, and then out into the bustling Tokyo evening.

Mamoru said a quiet "Yes", and then stood up.
The two of them were walking across the streets, Usagi, as usually, was incredibly excited about everything. Everything was going okay...okay...or was it?
Mamoru started to feel a terrible headache. He said to himself to ignore it, but... He suddenly stopped, trembling.

"Mamo-chan are you ok?" Usagi held onto Mamoru "Let's go back to your place and sit down. We can go out tomorrow. I have to see everyone in the morning but we can do something later" She tried to smile, but it felt so forced, Mamoru looked kinda sick.

Rei smiled pleasantly at Hotaru when she heard Haruka was going to come over. It has been a while since the raven haired miko saw the tall blond tomboy and she was glad Haruka was coming over. In fact, the last time she saw Haruka (and Michiru and Setsuna on that matter) was after the last battle with Galaxia. Since then everything has been peaceful for the senshi and they were happy living their civilian lives, well, at least until the time for the Crystal Tokyo to rise comes. "I'm glad that Haruka is coming here" Rei said. Although I am not sure whether to tell Haruka about what's happened or not. I mean, we don't know anything for sure, so is there a point in alarming everyone before we have solid proof that something is wrong? But on the other hand, Haruka is older and more experienced and it would be a good idea to consult with her... she thought. Then she realized that there was a very simple solution to her doubts. She turned to Hotaru and said: "Hotaru-chan do you think we should tell Haruka about what we saw in the sacred fire?". Tell me what is it that YOU saw, Hotaru-chan was Rei's real question which remained unasked. For the time being at least.
