Magic? Seriously though, although I've done mine through Photoshop, Premiere, and Ulead VideoStudio, I've turned out some good stuff with MS Paint and Windows Movie Maker too. Sometimes you have to have a lot of patience, a steady hand (or a tablet!), and a good eye. There are a lot of good tutorials on Youtube that show you how to do things like that -- I found some for anime-style backgrounds and moving backgrounds that helped a lot.

A lot of people of youtube lie about these sort of things. They try to inflate their ego.

You can't animate stuff in MS Paint, so they're lying about that.
Chances are, they took an animated gif, edited all the frames cheaply, then put them back together in some cheap animation propgram. Very few people would actually draw all new transformations-those can take weeks.

I moved this from Venting&Advice. This topic really doesn't fall under that category at all.

What people do is do it frame by frame on MS Paint, so it is true. My friend does it via MS Paint and it took him over two hours to do a three second clip, I was amazed at his patience.
Yeah, it is possible to do it. However, alot of people use animation programs which help them create moving figures, but I dunno how that works
