Thank. God.
Actually, not one person I saw mentioned it today. Still, I'm so relieved. XD

YAY!!!
I'm so happy! I'm not easily involved in politics... but I was touched when I heard the speech of both candidates.
Phew, it was touching indeed. How respectful they both were. Now I truly hope the new Usa president will achieve what he wants.

Wow. The non-Americans who have posted sound more excited then the Americans.

I guess the non-Americans haven't had to put up with this for the last 20 or so months. Also, it does affect an awful lot of countries other than the US.

Now I truly hope the new Usa president will achieve what he wants. There's a new president of Usa Tsukino? Over here in England, we're all very happy -- all my family were hoping for an Obama victory. Of course, my father grew up in South Africa, and he knew first-hand how awful conditions were for black people, so that aspect of it is particularly symbolic and poignant for him. For me... well, I don't know that much about Obama's policies, so my main reason to be glad is that we're not getting four years of Sarah Palin!

I am also really glad that it's over! I voted for John McCain, but I hope that we can all come together now to support our new president, Barack Obama. I believe he is really a good person (I think both candidates were) and he has such a lovely family, so I hope that there isn't much negativity towards him as he takes office. He won fair and square, and deserves to have a chance just like everyone else.

That's what I meant when I said that both candidates ( and their electors) were very respectful to each other.
