Well not too far back! When Sailor Moon was actually on TV even though it was dubbed and there were other shows such as uh... Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Rocko's Modern Life, Hey Arnold, Doug etc. And when Backstreet Boys, N*SYNC, Spice Girls, Britney Spears, and Pokemon were insanely popular.
I can't think of anymore but I know they're out there! (I thought of this since I recently am putting the first season of Are You Afraid of the Dark on my ipod hurrah!)
Of course please post the ones you remember so we can all reminisce!

Oh man! What a great idea for a thread! ;D Speaking of those shows, I used to love them all (except for Rocko's Modern Life, which I don't remember watching, heh)! What else was there? Yogi Bear ("is better than the av-er-age bear"), Tin-Tin, Felix and Cat, The Pink Panther. (Great cartoons!) Um, Goosebumps (those dummies still freak me out!). I really do miss all those shows. Most of these new shows just don't match to the greatness of the oldies, heh. Hm that's all I can remember for now. SOmeone jolt my memory! ;D

Well Rocko wasn't my favorite one either but it was one of them old ones . Yogi! I loved that show, even though I don't remember the exact names "boo bear" and "ranger" something... and there was a female one too! I don't remember Tin-Tin, and Felix, but I definitely saw the PINK PANTHER and Goosebumps! Oh haha this is a kiddie one but I used to love watching the Magic School Bus, oh and we used to always watch "Bill Nye : The Science Guy" in science because the teachers were too lazy. What about Rugrats, Aah! Real Monsters, Angry Beavers, Ren and Stimpy, oh and randomly Madeline from Disney, Alex Mac, Clarissa Explains It All...

Oh I love Angry Beavers!!I can't believe they tool it off the air! My brother used to love Ren and Stimpy. And *smack self on the head* how could I forget the Magic School Bus? If only all teachers were like Ms. Frizzle. And Alex Mac was sooo cool. I wonder what happened to the actress. She's pretty much off the Hollywood radar these days. I always thought she was pretty.
Now they have Rugrats: All Grown Up, but it lacks the charm and imagination the original had. See, newer is not necesssarily better! ;D

I think I saw Angry Beavers on the TV a few months ago but it was just like a one-time airing thing . Oh and for the Magic School bus, there was this episode where they traveled inside the student and that was the first time I saw that scenario and that blew me away haha. Alex Mac? Well I will imbd her! Her stained hat was classic! Hmm well the Actress Larisa Oleynik, seems to be alright but I don't recognize her as Alex Mac if she has appeared in more recent things. Ooh she was on Boy Meets World but I don't remember who she was... www.imdb.com/name/nm0646351/

She was in "10 Things I Hate About You". It was a pretty funny movie actually.
Hey, did you have a favourite Spice Girl? I was so sad when Geri split.

*shuffles feet* During that time that they were popular I never actually immersed myself into pop culture haha but I guess if I had to say it'd be "Baby Spice".
Was Victoria Beckham one of them err "Posh"... not being trying to be critical but she is looking quite thin these days.

Yup, she's the one (lucky girl!). I think she's having some marital problems these days. Baby Spice was my favourite too, actually.

Awh well it's hard to keep up with THE David Beckham... Marriage is tough in the spotlight.
I just thought of another one some more sort of old shows, As Told By Ginger, Catdog, Rocket Power, Scooby Doo, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (I never understood why they were named after artists...), Tom & Jerry!

Yeah, it's kind of sad how Hollywood marriages hardly ever make it past the first few anniversaries. Oh yeah, those were good shows too. I love Catdog, haha. Ohh some just popped into my head: The Wild Thornberries, Blossom, Saved By The Bell, Student Body, Breaker High (I used to love this show). Ryan Gosling *drool*.

Waves That's because everyone's so gosh darn good looking and people can't resist being with other people . Did you like Cat or Dog better? For me I guess I liked Dog because he was more playful than Cat and he didn't hack up hairballs. That was so sad in one of the episodes where they wanted to be separated! Ohhh Wild Thornberries! Ahh I always wondered how Debbie could see out of her hair. Is Saved By The Bell the one with "Screech" in it? That show reminds me of another one "RECESS"! But I odn't think I've seen the other shows . otakuartistgirl Yeah but it was on TV like for disney a, long time ago. Oh? Haha well I only know of the songs on the radio like the shape of my heart or something like that. When is no doubt getting back together? What about these ones! ;D Kenan and Kel Double Dare The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo Wild And Crazy Kids

Yup, it's the one with Screech. And I think I liked Dog as well. Cat was the controlling one, right?

Rocko's Modern Life FTW!
I remember when Nickelodeon was fun to watch and its shows had an edge to them. Now it's just a bunch of fart and slime gags (with All That leading the way). The only thing redeemable about the network is Sponge Bob, but that's about it.
I miss the old days of Cartoon Network, too; Cow and Chicken, Johnny Bravo, Speed Racer, Dexter's Lab, etc. I miss those types of shows so much now.
Of course, let's not forget Sonic the Hedgehog from back in the day.
