Ahh! Automatic translators, they bring back memories haha I was translating stuff to German and when I translated it back instead of saying, "You are a nice person." It said something like "You are very clean."

Wow... I have too short of an attention span to read novels, but hey if it's about vampires I'm sure I would check it out.

Glad to hear everything!XD Well, I'm really thinkinga bout a way to translate it, at least to let you read it, even if an "official" translation is impossible.XD Not alone, of course, because I don't find myself that good in english. But since I can understand english better than speaking it, or writing it, if I find some kind of automathic translator, I'll take a look at the result after, correct the errors, and then....XDDDDD babelfish.altavista.com/trwww.google.com/translate_tYou won't find anything better than this odd couple

Well...for those who'd like to see how it begins...XD Sorry for the errors...XD It's quite a random translation.XD
Prologue: The heretical Queen (probable dating: 1498) - Taken from: Transilvane history and legends, first edition, 1899
It is narrated that, once, in a small territory between the Carpazi, there was a castle inhabited by a young prince, nobleman of mind and blood, beautiful like a God and wiser for his young age. He was a strong warrior and a faithful servant of the king, and was proud of it. About his beauty and his gentility they spoke everywhere: they said that his eyes were clear and deep as the sea, and that he had the force of ten men in battle, but it was also kind and pure of heart and mind. Only one thing lacked to his happiness: he in fact did not have a wife.In vain the noblest between the nobles around the king tried to give him their daughters: he declined every offer, saying that he would only obey to his heart. And one day, between the surprise of the people and all the nobility, he married the daughter of a poor shepherd, Nastassia. Nobody ever knew why he had decided to marry her: thin girl was in truth, even tough beautiful, and also badly seen: some quite insinuated that she had lead a dissolute life, or that it was one misbeliever. Nobody saw her with good eyes, since for the noble ones, she was a dishonour for the family of the young prince, and ffor the poor ones, she was a bitch who, in order to survive, gave herself to the prince of those lands, and furthermore, they said she was an heretical or even worse, a witch. And a sad and horrible day, she demonstrated her bad inclinations: Ivan, the young prince, had had to leave for the war against the infidels, and unfortunately for his country he fell in battle, leaving everybody in desperation. Still today, what that Nastassia did after this event comes whispered, and they sign themselves against bad luck. In fact, when she discovered the dead body of the husband, she came to a violent anger and she desacred the church where he had been carried, gaining the anger of God, who punished her with a terrible maledition: she would have become externally the monster that she always hid to be, and she would work for the devil, carrying innocent spirits to hell.*
* note of the Author: The name of this creature, in the popular tradition, is "Succubus", that is a kind of Vampire, to indicate its tie with the demon. In some villages a lot arretrated, still today they're afraid of her coming, above all in the area of the Oriental Transilvania.

Wow if you write ike that, no wonder your book is getting published. Cudos to you ladylillith, I must say I like your style a lot, it's quite poetic. Can't wait for an English version of the book, since asking for a Croatian version might be too much to ask. XD

*giggle* well, the translation is as similar as possible to the original versions, apart from some mistakes and some synonims that i had to use because I didn't know how to put some words. It's only that it's an almost impossible mission to translate all 55 pages (in A4 format, in the pocket one they are actually about 100) with the authomatic translators...X(

Well, I just tried, google translator translates only 4 full A4 pages(even if you post more than that) and meh, babelfish doesn't even dare to try to translate a huge document
