Wow, this thread is pretty old. Isn't anyone here interested in Momusu? I discovered them just a couple of months ago, and have since spent way too much a lot of time listening to their songs and trying to find out information about the members, both former and current. I've never been this much into music before! So, is there anyone willing to discuss Morning Musume on this forum? Or could there be someone interested in the other Hello! Project artists?

*raises hand* As you can tell from my sig/avatar. I love Hello!Project. ^__^
I first got into it because of C-ute, last summer. Mostly their older songs, them Mini Moni, then Morning Musume, of course I like the other little filler groups like Aa! and V-u-den. But now I'm mostly into Morning Musume mainly, I love the generation with Kago and Yossie, as well as the first generation. I don't much care for this new generation especially since Takashi is leaving.
I'm starting to get into Coconuts Musume, I kinda pity them. The other H!P members are looked upon as gods even long after they leave but these guys are basically forgotten. Up untill a few days ago I didn't even know Danielle existed. xD
I can totally relate to what you said. xD I have been trying so hard to learn their names, and other things about them. I think that's why I don't like the new generation, new names to learn! Plus, basically the only music I listen to is Hello!Project.
So, do you have a favorite member? Mine are Mika Todd and Ai Kago. And since reading her blog I'm starting to like Yaguchi also.
LOL all the people who haven't heard of Musume are gonna read this and be like "......wut?" xD

The first H!P group I heard about was unsurprisingly Morning Musume, and I still care about them a lot more than the other groups. For me, it all began last October, when I read an article about Momusu and watched some of their music videos in YouTube. I wasn't very impressed at first, but as time went on I sort of became addicted I remember watching Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari and thinking that I could never be able to tell all those girls apart... I like the old generations more than the newer ones, too. My favorite member ever is Yossie, although Asuka ranks almost as high. I wish there were still people like them in Morning Musume: great personalities and amazing singers. The current line-up is almost boring. Is Takahashi really leaving? I think her graduating now would just make things worse. As for the other groups, well... Lately I've been getting more and more into C-ute, even though I first wasn't interested in them or Berryz in the slightest. Tokaikko Junjou was an eye-opener to me I honestly think that Coconuts Musume (or at least their early stuff, I haven't listened to them much) is pretty bad, but somehow interesting at the same time. And yes, pitiable. I thought the same when I was writing (Mini Moni desu!)

I love Tokaikko Junjou! I don't really like C-ute's new stuff, I don't know... It all just kinda bleh.
Yossie is amazing as well! Did you see that clip where she was talking about how Kago walked into her hotel room looking for Rika and saw Yossie naked and screamed "Yossie that's disgusting!" then ran out? XD I love that!

Thank you! I don't know if you like Berryz Koubou or not, but I'd like to recommend this video clip. Seeing H!P girls speak English is always amusing =) I suppose you're familiar with Ayaka's Surprise English Lessons? By the way, do you have any favorite Morning Musume songs? I just tried out a singles ranker ( here), and it listed Renai Revolution 21, AS FOR ONE DAY and Onna ni Sachi Are as my top three. Dunno if that's true as my favorite songs tend to change every other day...

It said mine were "AS FOR ONE DAY", "Memory Seishun No Hikari", and "Furusato". But like you, my favorite changes a lot and depends on the mood I'm in. Right now I'm starting to listen to some of the other groups, like Country Musume and Ice Cream Musume. They're alright, in my opinion Country Musume could of gone farther if it had been for the accident, and I don't really see Ice Cream Musume going anywhere...

I have some trouble listening to Furusato these days because of the annoying sound that keeps repeating in the background through the whole song. It's the same thing with Mikan, where the beat reminds me of a heartbeat and I automatically concentrate on it, no matter how hard I try to ignore it. It's kind of creepy, really :S
I can't quite decide what I think about Ice Creamusume. Sure, their singing doesn't sound very enthusiastic, but their awkwardness is somehow adorable. And the PV of their version of Ame no Furanai blah blah resembles the early Momusu PVs, which is by no means a bad thing.

That's what I liked about the Ame No Furanai video, I wonder if it was meant to be a tribute?
Do you mean that "dun dun dun dun dun dun duh duh dun" part of Furusato? That weird, that's one of my favourite parts. xD

No, not that part. I meant the electric sound that's actually pretty much the first thing you hear when listening to the song.
I wish it was already May. I want to hear a new single from Momusu!
