... well, sort of. I was shelving some New Age books at work today, and the title of this one caught my eye. Look a little closer at the subtitle: So, Galaxia writes books now, I assume. I also found a quick reference in Geek Monthly magazine in an article about the Tokyo Tower. I'm sorry about the crookedness and the compression -- I haven't used my scanner in a while and the settings are all wonky.

Bwahaha that is awesome XD You cannot deny the awesome power of Sailor Moon! It finds its way into everything! Of course this is like so overdone and everyone knows it, but they also say "Get in tune with Sailor Moon cause that cartoon has got the boom, Anime babes that make me think the wrong thing" From the Barenaked Ladies song "One Week" You can't ignore that one hehehehe But those two are totally awesome XD

Haha, nice find! It reminds me of my train of thought: whenever I hear the names of the planets, I can't help but think of the Senshi. Heck, I remember when it was official that Pluto wasn't a planet anymore. I thought to myself, "Poor Sailor Pluto!" Ha. Since we're talking about some references here, I believe that the Simpsons did one quite a while ago. During one of their couch gags in the opening credits, each member of the family was dressed as a Japanese character. Lisa was Sailor Moon.

There is a song by Our Lady Peace called "Starseed"
Apparently it's about a man named Ken Carey who wrote a book about enlightened meditation. To me, of course, it's about Mamoru. ;p
I always thought it would make a great AMV but never got around to it.
Lots of love to the BNL song reference. I shout it every time I hear it :3

If I ever have to write about Galaxia in civilian form, I am so going to name her "Patricia Cori" :-P

If I ever have to write about Galaxia in civilian form, I am so going to name her "Patricia Cori" :-P Ahaha, you win. This must be Galaxia's memoirs -- why else would it be titled "No More Secrets, No More Lies"? In this enthralling book, she tells you her heartwrenching story and her rise and fall from power while explaining how you can use your own power to awaken your starseed too. Not only is she a powerful entity and an acclaimed author, she's also a self-help motivator! I almost want to move it to the biography section tomorrow as a personal little joke. ;D

Sailor Moon references? I've seen a couple of them.
My friend reads this manga, titled "Moon Boy", which made a reference. I don't know what it's about, but he told me a couple lines from the manga. I remember he told me one of the characters makes a reference to the Moon Kingdom of the Silver Millenium, as well as Queen Serenity and Princess Serenity.
Another reference: This one is from "Duke Nukem: Time to Kill", which is a video game. If you know this game series well, Duke Nukem rips a lot of his one-liners, jokes, etc from various other games, movies, TV shows, etc. You get the idea.
After the player has him enter a secert room, the player blasts away the aliens. Afterwords, he says: "Fighting evil by moonlight and winning love by daylight. I am the one named Duke Nukem."
I know that sounded cheesy, but it does make a reference.

Yeah, I can't get out of my head that Patricia Cori is a really Galaxia-ish name And thinking it that way, that book so belongs to the biography section... I wonder what would happen if you awake your starseed, like is she gonna come and took it from you so you die and she gets more powerfull?

I have some stir-crazy "references" that popped up during my trip to Walt Disney World. They both happened on the bus.
Okay, so, the buses we rode in had TVs so we could play some movies. I was just looking boredly at the frame around the screen before we popped in the first one when I noticed that it was made by a company calling themselves "REI".
Well, you can probably guess that Mars popped into my mind first...
Then, later, we made signs to put in the two buses because people kept getting confused over which bus was one and which was 2. They read:
"D-port North High Wildcats"
D-port stood for Davenport, my city. Of course, that's what went to my mind first (after all, my home is closer to my mind then Sailor Moon), but what immediately followed that?
"D-point."
I am so lame.

Okay, I was slacking off today while I was straightening my sections and I pulled out the book again to get a better look at it. According to the back of the book, starseeds are "recipients of an immense love that pours through Earth from all the realms of creation." The book tells you how to awaken as a starseed. ... who else thinks Patricia Cori has been watching or reading a little too much Sailor Stars? Her website is at www.sirianrevelations.net ; I'm half-tempted to contact her.

I dunno, but considering the fact that she seems to think the Sirius system has 3 stars, I'm a little confused.

Well, I never said she was credible. As much as I love New Age books, most of them seem to be off their rockers.
