Imagine if this game actually does make it to the GBA. Who knows? This is a fan made game, with the creator(s) not looking for monetary gain. If it's huge enough, a gaming company may want to actually publish it! Now, that would be awesome!
I want this game, as soon as a download is available.

For the next few days, every day I'll be posting my ideas for the various parts of the menu so I can finally get them to the coder. ^^ Item Section: When an item is highlighted, a description of that items appears in the bottom part of the menu. When a party member is highlighted, their name is shown in the bottom. (I may or may not include their name in Japanese.) Also when a party member is highlighted, their sprite will begin walking. When an item is used on them, they do their victory animation. If their status has changed, their sprite will reflect the status change. Equipment / Key Items Section: (They work the same. You can look at what's in your inventory, but they don't do anything.) Hopefully everything is straight-forward enough. ^^; All of the menus will scroll of course, and you'll be able to use items on any party member, not just who's in your active party. FONT AND ITEM ICONS ARE NOT FINAL. Oh, and the pink behind the menus will be whatever background you've chosen. What do you guys think? ^^

I like the new update. It sounds like the menus fit very well for this game. ^_^

Even if they aren't final, the item icons are adorable. I think it all looks very good!

I should note that there will be an outline around the font so that it can always be seen easily. ^^

As promised, here's the next part of the menu! The Status menu is of course used to check your character's statistics, as seen below: By pressing L or R, you can scroll to the civilian status page where you can look at more in depth information about the character. Like said for the item menu, the dark pink background will be changeable. ^^

It looks really good so far! Also I have some suggestions for background colours: Black/dark grey, blue/sky blue, dark green/green,green/yellow and brown/dark brown. Those would be really nice backgrounds.

Sorry about my slight hiatus. ^^; I've had to help my family move and get all my stuff together. It's a long process. ;____; But I'm pleased to show you my plans for the Tech Menu, which I think everyone will enjoy. Single Tech Menu:*Icons, graphics, and font are not final. Basically, once you choose a party member you enter the Tech Grid. In the Tech Grid, you move the cursor around mouse style (You can move it around freely) and then once you highlight a Tech that has been learned, its information is displayed. If you press the "confirm" button on an icon, the menu darkens and you are presented with new options. Here, you have the option of dispersing points towards upgrading the Tech to a new level. At some levels, the Tech will power up. At others, the player may get a stat bonus. If you highlight a Tech that can be learned but has not yet been learned, its information will not be displayed. (On the mockup, the Techs being led to with a black line should be faded out, not the same color as the others) (A pink line represents a bonus Tech that is branched off of another Tech.) Once you press the confirm button, you are prompted to disperse TP towards learning the Tech. Once you learn a Tech, the path to any Techs you can learn afterward will be shown. Upon learning a new Tech, if a Double or Group Tech has been unlocked, a sound will play and you will be notified. Pressing or R takes you to a page where you can see a list of what Techs you've learned, and it is here that you can use them to heal the party. Any Double / Group Techs learned are also displayed here, however you cannot use those to heal the party or anything else. Double Tech / Group Tech MenuDouble Tech and Group Tech work the same. With Double Tech, you select two party members and if there are Double Techs unlocked, their information will be displayed. With Group Tech, you select five party members and if there are Group Techs unlocked, their information is displayed.

I'm still working on a bigger update, but I realize that you guys need something to sink your teeth into, so I've prepared a little something for you. : 3 Hope you enjoy! Lots of comments would be appreciated! Screenshots: You're a Soldier, Usagi! Tsukino Residence - Living Room Music Clips: Solitude (Ami Mizuno's Theme) www.pssm-rpg.com/Forum%20Things/Solitude.mp3Promise (Cover of the song Yakusoku from PGSM) Vocals by: TygerChickChibi Redone Lyrics by: Me, TygerChickChibi www.pssm-rpg.com/Forum%20Things/Promise.mp3Artwork: (Done by Mateja AKA Silver Eyes) Hina Kusaka A beautiful and intelligent girl who's father has been Mamoru's benefactor since they were small children. She carries a strong romantic love for Mamoru in her heart, and has only had eyes for him her entire life. Original Characters ~ Leiko Iwa A classmate of Usagi and one of the most popular girls at Juuban Junior High. A cold-hearted and shallow girl, Leiko does not care about other people's feelings and speaks her mind, no matter the consequences. To be a friend of hers means instant popularity, but at what price? Reizo Izumi A classmate of Usagi and Leiko's best friend. According to Usagi, Reizo "fits in surprisingly well in a group of girls," meaning Leiko, Rin, and Yoshino. Like Leiko, Reizo is very conceited and selfish. His mother is a jeweler and business rival of Mayumi Osaka, Naru's mother. He and Naru have known each other since they were small children, and only pretend to like each other around their parents. Yoshino Taki A classmate of Usagi and "friend" of Leiko and Reizo. She is a very quiet girl who is always seen with her friends, but hardly ever heard. She may sometimes protest their questionable ways, but always ends up giving in. *Initial concept designs for Leiko, Reizo, and Yoshino were done by Shadou*
