Apologies if this is old -- this link is from 2002, but it never stops being funny. According to ChristianAnswers.net's amazingly inaccurate review, Naoko actually made Sailor Moon to spread the good word of Christianity to the poor uneducated heathens of Japan! Forget all those years of watching the anime and reading the manga, this article clears up any discrepancies you may have. Read the truth and repent, nonbelievers! - Usagi is actually ten years old.
- She is also a Christian who wears crosses. Those horrible censors cut them out because they don't want to show her expressing her faith in extreme circumstances.
- Usagi is extremely concerned for hellbound Rei, and most of their fights are because of religious differences!
- The Makaiju arc is actually about Nordic religions. Energy? Pshaw.
- R and S deal with Wicca.
- Hentai fanfiction is totally canon. Don't let your kids see it, lest they know about Usagi and Rei's dirty dealings when they aren't arguing over being saved.
- Haruka and Michiru? Who are they? It's all about Michiru and Hichiru! (And for you dub fans, that's Michelle and Alamara/Amora!)
I'm not even touching the religious side of the site -- that's a whole other deal I don't want to mess with and start fights over. The misconceptions and bad information alone is good for major lulz. I never knew we were dealing with such a wicked series!

Oh lord! But seriously. That's the stupidest thing ever. Can't these people just tell the truth? That's one thing about some Christians that bug me.

My Response: I have nothing against Christianity in general, but why do some(not all) bother doing this sort of thing? It's kinda stupid.

Isn't this the same site that claimed that Scar from "Lion King" portrayted the devil and Simba portrayed God or Jesus? Haha, that's pretty good. Scar- Satan, The Devil Mufasa- God Simba- Jesus Sarabi(Simba's Mother)- Virgin Mary...? I don't know about the other characters though. Then again, Simba WAS shown baptized, in a way... On the other hand! Wasn't The Lion King loosly based off of Hamlet? (Source: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lion_King)

Did they even bother to realize that Sailor Moon has Buddist and Shinto beliefs. They're are some Christian themes, but they're not clear. I don't know where they got these ideas, HONESTLY! *scoffs*

One of these statements is obviously incorrect.
