Really... I'm curios, what's your favorite DOS Game?
Mine is (DUH!!) Leisure Suit Larry, followed by Space Quest, Day of the Tentacle and The Lost secret of Monkey Island
If you don't really have a fav. dos game, post a game you'd like to play then.

Whoa! DOS? It's been a long time! I remember Roman Centurion: Defender of Rome being really fun, albeit either too easy or too hard. When you had generals like Marcus the Meek and Fabius the Delayer leading your armies across Europe, you knew you were in good hands! I don't know if Civil War Generals would count as a DOS game, but it was cool. Of course, who can forget Castle Wolfenstein? I can't say I recall many other DOS games now, simply because all the games today no longer use DOS... I do remember those days, though. Computers were extremely frustrating on Windows 3.1. Way back in the day my dad manually installed a CD drive into his old computer, and the games would often freeze.

You know... for that small nostalgic bunch of you, there is DOSBox that allows you to play DOS games on brand new PCs(with MAC OS or Win XP) And Thereisnospoon... Considering the fact that Civil War Generals was made for Win 1.X I guess it's almost the same as it would have been for DOS... ALMOSTTritogenia... Do you mean Ken's Labyrinth, aka WALKEN? That game that inspired Microsoft to make the 3D labyrinth screensaver? That was fun to play

It's been a while since I've played anything DOS... But my favourites have to be: - Monkey Island I and II (Hilarious, and a good plot.) - Caesar - Railroad Tycoon (I liked the original best; everything fit together.) - Simon the Sorceror (only played a demo, but it was GOOD) - Pirates! Gold Edition (I originally played it because I couldn't play the new version they had out; a grand semi-fixed force game.) - Spellcrafting 101 (only played a little, but it ain't bad for a text adventure, never played - or got to - the naughty version). Y'know? I once owned a 3.1, and I used to play good stuff like Reader Rabbit, The Oregon Trail (I still got the disc, and it still works), The Playroom. Yeh. Nice educational games. Nowadays I'm hooked on 2D Isometric like AoE and Stronghold, but still ain't nothin like some good ol' time gameplaying. Just wish I had some manuals.

And Thereisnospoon... Considering the fact that Civil War Generals was made for Win 1.X I guess it's almost the same as it would have been for DOS... ALMOSTIt's pretty old and it loaded through DOS, so it kinda counts I guess. I've tried running a DOS game once or twice on my computer, but it really doesn't work (by that I mean installed, not downloaded). EDIT: 1,337 posts! I'm uber 1337!

You have Win. XP right? Cuz in that case you should use DOSBox, a smart DOS emulator, simply install it, run it, type in I'm t3h 1337 in DOS games ;D
