Magic Knight Rayearth is one of the best Manga that CLAMP has come out with. Its about three girls named Hikaru, Umi, & Fuu who are completely different from one another, and they meet eachother on the same day, and get magically transported into the land of Cephiro where the Princess Emeraude is being held captive by the Evil Sorcere Zagato! If you love magical girl manga, this one should make you happy! You can buy the first and second Manga series at www.tokyopop.com , and buy the Anime from AnimeWorks! I've only read the first three volumes. I loved the pictures (CLAMP is the best!), but didn't think much of the story.

I currently own the first and second serie's on DVD and I also own the Manga, SNES game, and the first artbook, as well as a little Hikaru and Mokona keychain my Aunt bought me on her trip to Japan. The only thing I need to buy, is the second artbook!! ^ . ^ CLAMP's drawing style is so beatiful! Their one of my favorite Manga authors!

I suppose that I'm still fairly new to anime and manga so I never heard of this. I have visited one of the sites that lorena mentioned and it looks interesting. I don't think it'll be a replacement for Sailor Moon though.

*ressurects topic*
My dad picked up volume 3 of the manga for me when he was in the Japan section of the EPCOT center in Florida (he got to go to Disney World for WORK. I'm serious.).
I haven't read the first 2, but a sufficient amount of backstory was provided, so I knew what was going on.
I loved it! Now I have to read the rest.
Does anyone know if they're still selling these in normal bookstores like Barnes & Nobles?

They should have the Rayearth manga in bookstores like Barnes and Nobles and Borders. I also got the OVA. It wasn't as good as the manga and anime series, but it was worth checking out. The animation was amazing!

I have all six volumes + the Rayearth DVD. Now I just need the OVA! ^^;
I definitely love MKR. I loved it even before I knew anything about it. (If that makes any sense...) Then again, I'm incredibly biased towards CLAMP. Love their drawings, and most of their stories. <3
