Okay, out of the sailor senshi only 2 had no boyfriends or lovers! I mean: Usagi and Mamoru  Ami and Nephrite (even though it wasn't official!) Mako and Motoki So what about Rei and Minako?! I mean Mars is the "soilder of fire and passion" and Venus is soilder of "love and beauty" so why don't they get boyfriends while everybody else does? Did anybody think that way too? PS: I'm not counting that guy Rei was with in the amusement park (the hiccup kid) and Artemis with Minako because well... Artemis is already with Luna. |

It never actually "happened" but there are a few instances when Ami takes pity on Nephrite, so a few fans like to think there is something "going on" between them.
Speaking of which, other fans think that there is also something "going on" between Minako and Rei, since they fight so often, are so alike, and Rei REALLY shows emotion when Minako...you know... (don't want to say it...MAJOR SPOILER!!!)

Oh. I thought Mercury pitying Nephrite was to show that Mercury hadn't gone completely evil yet. Nephrite really sucks in PGSM, in my opinion.
Thank you for not spoiling anything, Arwentheelf02 (I'm on episode 38!), but I think I accidentally found out what happens already.

lol... I found Ami-chan and Nephrite totally adorable together ^^ I think there's also a lot out there who feel the same (in regards to PGSM, not the anime/manga)
Anyways, timmynugget, I know what u mean... I suppose there was some strong bond between the two..and I think that's a reason y they dont have boyfriends..they are always dealing with serious issues and trying to find out about each other etc.

Well, Zoicite had a breif obsession with Venus when he thought she was the princess. Other than that, Mars and Venus tend to be paired with eachother in the fandom.

I've really done a lot of thinkingabout why Venus and Mars would be attracted to each other, but there's alway the"Men are from Mars, women are from Venus"-type thing.
I really don't want to go into detail about the rest of why at this moment. It would be an essay-length post.
EDIT:
And anyways, even in the anime, Venus probably had the least luck in the love department.

Well Minako and Rei kind of have each other. XD There is a weird sort of rivalry with them in PGSM, I could read into it.  |

As you may know, PGSM is based more on the manga than the anime. In the manga, there were also debates about ReixMinako. Many people did see them as a couple, so it's only natural to presume that people think the same of PGSM. Sorry, this has been in my head for a while  |

I agree with Mercuria, in the manga the two of them really had some sort of bond going on. They even said they didn't need men.  |
