Should PGSM have gone on and done the R season? Or should have it done its own original new season? Or should it just stay as it is?

It should stay as it is. If they try to go on with the next season they couldn't even do that unless they have another twist. I highly doubt that. Anyway the original season was done fantastically done plus Usagi's married and they are in like what their 20's it would be weird to see a 20 year old person fighting people.

I would just like to say that I don't think it's weird for there to be twenty year old superheroes. After all Superman is passed twenty and so is Batman. In fact that seems to be the aproximate age that many superheroes are. Usagi and Mamoru being married doesn't seem to be unusual to me either. I don't know of any superheroes that are married but I'm sure they can fight their arch-enemies just as well as the single ones. Besides that, I feel that they would fulfill their duties as protectors of the planet in any way no matter what age they are so (even though I have never seen this version) I think it is possible for a new season to be created.

I think they should just leave it as it is, or else we'd probably see a mess of a show. The series started going downhill after the evil mercury saga and when Mio was introduced, so having an R series would do more than just stretch it thin. Most sentai series (which is what PGSM was technically suppose to be) are typically 50 episodes anyways.

I never knew that there's a limit to the number of episodes.

There isn't a limit; it's just an average. Kind of like how most anime series fall in the range of 20-40 episodes. Very few series have a lot of episodes like Sailor Moon, Dragonball Z, Inyuyasha, Naruto, etc.

I know that it wouldn't be weird but you would think that if they went on to lets say all the way to the Stars Series their age by then would show a little maybe and it just would be wrong to me. If they show an R season then they have to have it up to Stars because without all the senshi then it would be pointless. The orignial season had the inner senshi and that is ok. If you add Chibi-Usa then of course you have to have the rest.

I think PGSM meant to have elements of all five seasons but use the most known characters. Sailor Luna was in a way suppose to be like Sailor Chibi Moon.

[shadow=purple,left,300]Aw wow, I'd be so cool to see Michiru and Haruka and Hotaru and Setsuna and ChibiUsa! Lol, it'd probably be really wierd, but still cool![/shadow]

As much as I and many others want another one there are 4 reasons 1. Actresses are too old of that 2. All the actresses have a career at the moment, they can't quit it 3. It already ended. The special act was supposed to be '4 years later' which makes them 18 years old in the show and they already got married. 4.Many of the actresses (coughMercuryJupitercough) have said that they wouldn't make another season anyway. It's too sad...

though that doesn't make sense to have another season, ne? I mean in the special Mamoru and Usagi get married, so that means the series is over?

I sort of wish that they hadn't made a special but hey, if they made a 2nd season it would weird because now: Usagi has to fight bad guys and Be a wife I don't it would of worked out... (sighs)

I heard the series ended due to a lack of raitings and the actresses playing Jupiter and Mercury didn't want to continue their roles.
I think to continue the series the Special Act would have to be ignored.

You'd have to ignore the whole "Ginzuishou was smashed" thing.
And please don't bring up such old topics.

I wouldn't want another season actully. I would love to see another season but the problem is the plot. it would be very weird to go onto another season with the plot they made. So no.
